The first floor is inviting, but the real surprise is the huge second floor that opens up an even wider shopping space. It makes the store feel more like a destination than just a quick stop. This location focuses entirely on women’s products, and the selection is both broad and high quality. Saks carries all the upper mid range to high end brands you would expect, and many of the designers have their own dedicated spaces or booths within the store. That layout gives it the feel of a luxury department store but still easy to navigate. You can find almost everything here in one visit. There is jewelry, accessories, handbags, clothing, shoes, makeup, and perfumes all under one roof. The variety makes it easy to put together an entire look or simply pick up something special without having to wander around to different stores. What stands out about this Saks is not just the brand selection but also the overall atmosphere. It feels polished, modern, and designed to make browsing enjoyable rather than overwhelming. Being located right inside the Prudential Center adds to the convenience since you can combine shopping here with everything else the mall offers. Overall Saks Fifth Avenue at the Prudential Center is a great spot for women’s fashion and beauty. The spacious layout, the range of high end brands, and the convenience of being in Back Bay make it a place worth visiting whether you are browsing or seriously shopping.

I actually really like shopping at Saks because they have great deals, but honestly, the attitude of some of the salespeople is pretty disappointing. Yesterday, I was buying something at the La Mer counter, and the sales associate looked super impatient at first. If I weren’t getting a gift for my family member, I definitely wouldn’t have continued with the purchase after being treated like that. I was just trying to pick up the gift and check out, so I really had to buy it, but the moment she realized I was going to make the purchase, her tone completely changed. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced something like this at Saks, and it really makes the whole shopping experience pretty terrible.

Came here to find highend brand shoes, Miguel from the shoe department helped me out. I have to give him credit, his costumer service and attention to detail was at 100%! I walked out happy with a nice pair of sneakers. Overall, they have a diverse of great variarity of luxurious brands wether is clothing, shoes, bags etc. I’m sure you’ll find what you’re looking for.

I have always had great shopping experiences at this location! Whether it was Joe at the mens store when trying to find a perfect wedding shoe, or Sam at Gucci to help my wife find some purses/accessories to complement her outfits! Highly reccomend this location inside of the Prudential Mall!

I wanted to buy a particular coat, and the only one in stock was on Saks Fifth Avenue’s online store. I purchased it during a promotion for a $100 gift card. When the coat arrived, I tried it on right away and realized I needed one size larger. When I called to initiate an exchange, I was surprised to learn that they not only do not do exchanges -- requiring me to buy another coat before being reimbursed for the return, but they also refused to honor the $100 gift card promotion, even though I was simply exchanging the item. As a retail shop owner for 15 years, I was shocked by the lack of customer service. They're supposed to be a luxury brand, but there is nothing luxury about the way they treat their Clientele. Honestly, I could have recharged my card and bought the coat twice, but I refuse to give this company a single cent. As much as I love the jacket and they had the last one in stock, I cannot support a business that treats its customers so poorly. Every other online retailer is making returns and exchanges easier, often offering free return shipping, yet Saks remains archaic & frankly ungrateful for the business.

the store employees are always texting and don't know the policies regarding returns, alterations, pickups etc. i bought a garment and scheduled tailoring and no one could tell me when it would be done or why the small hem to the length didn't fall into their free alterations policy. apparently only the alterations manager can tell you when the garment will be done, and they were not working the day i got my measurements so they told me to call back later. i had to call/email/complain for an entire week while they had my expensive garment until anyone could tell me when it could be done for.

Najah, Raven, Alexander, Michelle, and Tom are the warmest, most knowledgeable, and genuinely kind team you’ll ever meet. They take their time, they listen, they never rush or upsell, and they make you feel like royalty. Every single one of them is a gem. Cassandra at Guerlain is a national treasure. The way she walks you through the exclusives is like attending a masterclass with a friend who happens to be a perfume poet. She’s magic. Courtney Revels and Brooke, handling Ex Nihilo, By Kilian, and Le Labo, are straight-up superstars. Courtney can read your soul and pull the exact Ex Nihilo or Kilian that you didn’t know you needed. They’re fun, cool, zero attitude, and they are generous with samples. And that’s the thing — everyone here is insanely and delightfully generous with samples. Those samples have led me to full bottles I never would have discovered otherwise. That kind of generosity completely changes the game and turns a shopping trip into a true discovery journey. Zero pretension, zero pressure, just pure passion and people who love what they do and want you to love it too. Saks Fifth Avenue Boston fragrance department is currently operating at peak excellence. If you love perfume even a tiny bit, go spend time here. You’ll leave happier, smelling incredible, and probably with a bag full of samples that will keep you smiling for weeks.
