MG Hair Artistic Salon - Boston

they took me in last minute and took care of me with Danny who did my hair exactly like i had asked! I also had pictures and descriptions of what i wanted and he got it down to a tea in my opinion! I have very thick hair, and so salons haven’t been able to manage well my hair but he did amazing at removing the bulk and blunt straight lines for my lower part of my hair! Danny was super kind, quick, and knew what he was doing!

not only am i in love with the results, i was also blown away by the stylists’ artistry + skills!! there was so much precision put into each trim, and the teamwork between drying my hair and applying the bleach was honestly impressive. 10/10 !!!

I've been looking for a good balayage place in Boston for years now and finally made an appt to try MG after seeing it had good reviews. Ming and the team did an amazing job with my hair and really achieved the ash brown color that I had requested. It's always a long process (I have long, thick hair) but they really took their time to make sure the color was what I wanted. I appreciated Ming's attention to detail!!

Danny did an incredible job with my perm! He was professional, skilled, and made sure everything was perfect. My hair has never looked better. Definitely coming back to MG Hair Artistic Salon to see him again!

I had an amazing experience getting my haircut at MG Salon! Ming was the best — he was professional, really listened to what I wanted, and clearly explained what was and wasn’t possible. I came in mainly to trim off the split ends, but he went above and beyond and treated my hair like an artistic project. I left feeling so happy with the result! It’s also worth mentioning that he did my hair after a slip accident the night before. I would have completely understand if he needed to cancel, but he still showed up for customers while waiting to get treatment the next day. I can’t recommend him enough, and I’m wishing Ming a speedy recovery.

This was my first time getting a perm and I love it! My stylist was Danny and he was able to bring my vision to life. If I’m still in the area in the future I would definitely go back and get my perm done by Danny again!

I’ve been going to this hair salon almost since they first opened about 6 or 7 years ago, and Ming has been my hairstylist the entire time. I regularly get my hair colored, cut, and styled here, and the results are always amazing. Ming truly listens and understands what you want. If you bring a photo, he’ll tell you honestly what works for your hair and how to make it look even better while keeping it healthy. I’ve tried other salons a couple of times when there were deals, and there were 2 times I ended up coming back to Ming to fix my hair afterwards and he fixed my hair as perfect as it could be without any judgment. (I seriously felt guilty, lol) The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is a great hair salon with excellent service, skilled stylists, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend Ming and this salon for hair color, haircuts, and long-term hair care!
