Parkdale Mall

The mall is not the same anymore, it use to be filled with stores. Now it looks like it's closing down, but I still love it.

Was told I had to leave Parkdale because I was carrying my DSLR camera around... like we don't all have cameras on our phones 🙄 It's just a weird set-up. Half the mall is closed (literally a 1/3rd of the building is a Sears that's been closed for over a decade), and the other half feels like they're about to have a Going out of Business sale. And I checked the (nearly decade-old) policy that says "Photography or recordings of any kind without prior approval of shopping center management." And it just sounds like, so a dying mall doesn't want to show that it's empty inside? (Also, just a side note, there's a weirdo that circles the mall in a truck to intimidate people, and it feels racist) But on the positive side, at least since the mall is typically so empty, it makes for a great indoor walking place (just make sure not to have your phone camera out, apparently). AND a Spirit Halloween just opened (for the next few months) to replace the front facing store that recently left. * Update: Security said cell phone cameras are allowed, but not DSLR Cameras. I'm assuming he thought I was doing some kind of commercial shooting (I wasn't, and hadn't taken any pictures while walking through), but I also heard it was because the property owners didn't want to bring attention to the recent flooding that affected a fairly important section. * All in all, I don't hate the mall though. Don't misunderstand, it's never been a *great* mall, and it hasn't even been "pretty good* for a while. But I've lived in the area for a long time, and it's what we have. I'm disappointed that it's at where it's at, but Parkdale is one of the few "Third Spaces" that Beaumont and some of the surrounding smaller towns has, so I don't want it to go away.

I really enjoyed this mall! So much to see and buy and omg the clearances are great!! Not just that but the selection in foods from hispanic cuisine to asia and American. It is a great place to walk around with your kids and you can enjoy the atmosphere of being safe while shopping. I not only bought a couple of pairs of shoes but outfits and enjoyed some Chinese food on the way out along with a bobo drink. .. worth going but make sure you have time to check out all the stores and sales because there are so many to check out. 🛍️🛍️

Had an amazing visit! So many stores to choose from. Vans employees were helpful and kind. If you have a chance to visit TX7 do it! Amazing shop everything is $8.99 or less. The owner is so kind. Had a great time at Build a Bear! Made some memories. Santa is so sweet even stopped what he was doing to wave at the children when they walked by. Had a lot of fun.

When you take chairs out people are less likely to stay. I am happy to sit and read a book while my kids shop but with limited seating I'm likely to push them to hurry up. Otherwise i think this mall is fantastic.

Came to Parkdale Mall to get a quick bite. Parking was fine but there wasn't many choices with healthier options. The food court didn't look clean.

My kid always wants to come for the little car games by the food court and they’re NEVER working. One screen is actually on but it doesn’t take the quarters and the other two are off completely.
