My Forever Favorite — Vegan Mexican Magic 🫶🏾🌮 Let’s be clear—El Cocinero is him. I’ve been pulling up here for years and the love is still real. Everything about this place just hits: the flavor, the vibes, the service. It’s the kind of spot that makes you feel like family from the jump. Seasoning? On point. Portions? Always generous. The kind of comfort food that wraps you up and feeds your soul. Whether I’m posted up alone or bringing friends for the first time, it’s always a win. Now if you really know, you know—my go-to cheat code is adding rice on top of the fries or the nachos. Game. Changer. 💥 Vegan or not, this place delivers every single time. Real ones know: El Cocinero been that guy.

My girlfriend wanted to try it out so we decided to check it out she ordered the birria tacos I ordered 3 tacos. The birria tacos are amazing and I ordered carnitas tacos, a al pastor and a chicharon taco. Let me tell you they were amazing too the flavor and taste was amazing! The red salsa they provided was the cherry on top great heat and flavor. The also have other dishes will definitely return to try the other dishes.

Literally the best food you can buy. Authentic Mexican style/LA approved food. Non vegans that I've had try it love this place. Only bad thing is ita 2+ hours from me, but worth the drive every time.

Positive: Visited this location twice and it has not been disappointing. Food was flavorful, service was great, and most importantly, it was a clean establishment. Ordered the birria tacos, loaded fries, and an Alex’s burrito. All meats are seasoned and weren’t bland. Negative: The inside eating sections are a little small and awkward. Limited salsa selection

The most delicious vegan Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life!!!! I ordered the vegan burrito it’s bursting with flavor and huge in size. In short, a dream of a dish. And their vegan sauce… wow, just wow. Thank you for existing I’m always craving this. It’s perfect even for non-vegans because it’s just sooo tasty!!

I can’t believe a hot bar full of delicious things in front of me. Ordered ahead online, it was ready when we arrived, and we dug in. The quesabirria tacos were insane. Saved the consommé for later. Got a two meat burrito, the chicarrones are a must. Can’t believe how crispy and flavorful they were. Wish I could go back. A little off the beaten path but well worth the drive. Saved a taco and the consommé for later and made nacho fries. Would do again.

We ordered a good mix of birria dorados with extra cheese and consome, asada tacos and the al pastor burrito. Insane, I have never had birria before (not even before I went vegan) and this is unbelievable. Everything was so good! The staff was very patient while taking our order and was helpful. We hope to come back soon, we need El Cocinero in Europe urgently.
