Chop Shop Butcher & Grill

This place is pretty good! There is plenty of parking. You can run some errands while you're there too. I went on July 24th just before 3pm. The restaurant itself wasn't that busy but there were a handful of people picking up to go orders. The place is small but it had about seven tables with only a few taken. I love that you can customize a plate, bowl or sandwich. There are a lot of meat options including seafood. I ordered a pita with chicken thighs, garlic sauce, cucumber, tomatoes, onions and lettuce. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. Everything tasted fresh. The pita was falling apart before I even picked it up and was hard to eat but everything tasted so good. I'll probably order it as a bowl next time to avoid the messiness. I guess the only complaint I had was that the place was a little dirty. The tables weren't wiped down and almost half of them didn't have napkins. The guy who took my order was nice but there was nobody there cleaning the dining area. Not a deal breaker but it was sorta gross.

Chop Shop is a hidden gem located in Saticoy Plaza in Van Nuys. I've visited many times and keep coming back because the food is consistently impressive. The flavors are truly exceptional. One standout dish for me is the Lamb chop served with rice, beet salad, and hummus; it's simply delicious. Beyond their diverse menu, they offer an incredible selection of high-quality meat cuts that are worth exploring. If you're a fan of lamb chops, this place is a must-visit. Everything is cooked fresh daily, including their tri-tips, chicken, and beef. You have the option to purchase the meat raw or have it prepared for you, which adds to the appeal. Their meat selection is insane from Tomahawk, beef kabob, steak, lamb kabob, ground beef and steak, shrimp and many more options (see pictures) Overall, it's a fantastic spot that any food lover should consider checking out.

Stepan, Mike, and Yenok are all amazing and the staff here is great and reliable. Been going here for over 5 years back to back after a workout sometime and they never disappoint with their chicken kabob I love that they cook the proteins here as well and are a restaurant as well. It’s always been great coming to here or Granada hills location. Hope they open up soon and they continue to be a great restaurant I’d recommend for all my friends and family.

Decent selection of Meat. Sirloin, New York, T-bone, Ribs, Chicken and other meats to choose from. Pretty crazy design. And interesting set up. Choose you're cut of meat, they will cook it on a grill right in the back of the location. Some seating inside and a small section outside. Recommended for any True Carnivore, or Conosure of Meat, Athlete's, and Anyone looking for a great source of protein in a one stop Real Homemade Backyard Barbeque Style Experience Dining time's vary depending on what temperature You want you're Cut. Plan on staying for a good 15-20+ minutes usually.

This Korean short rips 🍖with salad 🥗rice 🍚 and fries 🍟 is delicious. I appreciate the service here. I still feel full from eating this. I think this plate alone can be shared with another person. It is a lot of food. I did not finish it. I will eat the rest tomorrow. Around $25 dollars for this plate. It is worth it. I appreciate the service here 🙏. Thank you.

So meat...yes...time to talk about the meat! They literally have an insane selection of fresh cut proteins to choose from: tri tip, ribs, steaks, chicken, lamb, pork, fish, shrimp...i mean the list goes on and on! I highly recommend the ranchero which was marinated so well and extremely tender to eat. You can choose to create a plate, a salad, or a sandwich with an even greater selection of sides and toppings. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken kabob, hummus, beet salad and tzatziki! The chicken lule was a little tough and under seasoned and the grilled shrimp needed more oomph as well (seasoning wise). But all in all, the food did not disappoint! The place was packed when we got there and you can tell it's a neighborhood staple. Mary delivered amazing customer service and was super friendly and accommodating. You can tell that both she, and the manager Mike truly care about their customers and want to ensure that everyone receives high quality food.

December 13,2024 I ordered the tritip(mediun well) and a side of mixed salad to start my day and it was everything that I needed. I paid $24.34 which wasn't actually much.
