Visited Hollywood CityWalk late in the evening after a long day at Universal Studios, and it was absolutely worth it. The place was beautifully lit, vibrant, and super jazzy—perfect to unwind and soak in the energy. Great food options, lively atmosphere, and a fun crowd made the experience even better. It felt like the perfect extension to an already amazing day. Definitely recommend visiting CityWalk at night! 🌃✨🎶
Great place! Visited family and they brought me here to see the restaurants. Went to the new Canes and it was great and fast considering how many people were there. I got to see the original dresses from Wicked with my sister and it was just an amazing experience.
I’ll keep this review simple & sweet: it was a fantastic day to explore all the stores in CityWalk and catch a movie at the AMC theater. As an added bonus, you can get your $30 parking fee refunded by showing your movie ticket to guest services. Rating this fun location 5/5
Great appetizer for the next awful dish... the park doesn't worst the money nor the time! If you don't want to feel stupid, in winter season arrive at 4pm, eat and drink (not much) stay at the City Walk till 6pm... and then enter the park, when most of the people (mostly families with children) it's heading out! The lines at the rides, restrooms, food courts, etc etc will be notorious diminished. And don't form in line to the Hippogriff thing, it's a 30 seconds ride! In fact, don't throw your money and time at Universal... go to Disneyland or any other chipper park! By the way, the City Walk looks better at night!
If it wasn't for everything, having $35 parking i might have come here to eat every night on our visit to california for pennsylvania. We had already paid for parking earlier that day to go to universal. So I figured it's the perfect night to still use that parking that lasts one day. It was nice that my picky son could have kfc while I had a poke bowl from uncle sharki. I've never eaten there before, and the staff was extremely nice to explain to me what was what. My friends ate chinese and also took their son to kfc area for pizza. There was a win for everyone, then we went to the chocolate emporium for ice cream. I'm also pretty sure we saw the actor who plays Tyler Galpin, the Hyde in Wednesday, Hunter Doohan. We were near the bathrooms, and we didn't want to bother him. But it was still pretty cool.
Went twice in two days. The rides were awesome! And t h e areas were great! We did the tour and saw an actual western that was in production. Movie should be out next year!
Overall, I had a great experience at Universal Studios Hollywood. It was fun seeing all the characters and enjoying the different rides. I especially loved the Harry Potter-themed area—it was a highlight! We arrived around 8, which worked out perfectly as we were able to get on all the rides with minimal wait times.
