This place is amazing, as soon as you walk in everyone is super friendly! There's plenty of amazing items on their menu, here's what we got! The Ube Crack Cheesecake: This was so good, super creamy, and full of flavor. Ube Crinkle: This was so cakey and delicious, it was fantastic! Turon Poptart: I love Turon, this was probably one of the best ways I had Turon! Strawberry Calamansi: Super refreshing, has that sweet and tart. It was great for a hot day! Ube Matcha Latte: The combo between Ube and Matcha was very much a drink just to relax with. Upside Down Halo Halo: This was a fun twist on one of my favorite desserts. This has a variety of fun textures in every bite. Churrochi: Oh, churro + mochi = amazing. The cinnamon sugar, the chew, and then adding Ube Ice Cream *chef's kiss* Overall this place is a great place to sit down and have a fun cafe date. Or if you just want to vibe on your own!

Ambiance: Cafe 86 has such a warm and inviting vibe. It’s cozy, casual, and the perfect spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a relaxing treat for yourself. Food: • Pesto Sandwich – Absolutely delicious! Perfectly toasted bread, fresh ingredients, and served with crispy chips. Super satisfying and flavorful. Drinks: • Pandan Matcha – Creamy, smooth, and refreshing. A great twist on a matcha drink. • Upside Down Halo-Halo – My absolute favorite! Fun, unique, and packed with flavor. Definitely a must-try. Service: The staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell they put love and care into everything they do. Overall: Cafe 86 delivers on flavor, creativity, and good vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends. 💜

I've been to the one in Artesia too. I love ube desserts but sometimes I just don't taste the flavor much so I was recommended the Ube Truffle which was crunchy sweet outside like an Oreo and I could taste the semi- paste like ube on the inside. It was delicious! Pandan Matcha was good but nothing special. I like pandan but it's one of those flavors that is light in flavor.

We stopped in on Saturday for a visit. There is plenty of parking available. The café is warm and inviting. We got a strawberry calamansi. I have never had calamansi before. It is like a lime so it made the drink like a strawberry lemonade. It was very cool and refreshing. We also got an ube matcha latte. The subtle sweetness made for a perfect drink to enjoy while we sat and talked. Next up was an upside-down halo-halo. A fun twist on the traditional halo-halo. We ate all of it. The ube crack cheesecake was next. That subtle ube flavor with the creamy cheesecake just works so perfectly. The ube crinkle was a cookie I could easily eat a baker's dozen of and not look back. The turon pop-tart is a new favorite. Ask if they can warm it up for you. The perfectly light pastry and the bananas are ao comforting. Last but not least is the churrochi. They mixed a churro with mochi for a wonderful snack. The warm and friendly service combined with an amazing menu will make you want to come back again and again.

⭐ Review: Cafe 86 (Tustin) If you love ube, Cafe 86 in Tustin is a must. I tried the Halo Halo, ube leche cupcake, ube pop tart, and ube matcha latte, each one unique, but the Halo Halo was the clear standout. Creamy ube ice cream, flan, and chewy jellies made for the perfect balance without being overly sweet. The cupcake was rich with a flan topping, the pop tart nostalgic, and the latte smooth and earthy. Overall, a fun spot with lots of drinks to try, but I’d come back for the desserts especially that halo halo!

Love how there’s a popular Filipino cafe opens up in Orange County! We got the churrochi, grilled cheese sandwich, pastrami sandwich, peach mango drink 50% sweet, hibisus calamansi drink 50% sweet, ube truffles, turon pop tart, ube lechee flan cake. Our favorite is the ube truffles, so soft and full of ube flavors. The churrochi also a must try, chewy and sweet! Friendly service and clean interior.They also have halo halo! Give this place a try!

Cafe 86 is a staple in the community, and its spot at The District at Tustin Legacy makes it an easy stop for a sweet pick-me-up. We tried the Upside Down Halo-Halo, a creamy and fun twist on the classic Filipino dessert, packed with familiar flavors in a new presentation. The Ube Leche Flan Cupcake was soft, rich, and topped with just the right amount of sweetness, while the Matcha Pandan Latte stood out with its smooth, earthy notes and fragrant pandan finish. Overall, we loved Cafe 86! Such a cozy place to enjoy thoughtful desserts and drinks 💜
