Claims to have the best cheesesteak in Washington. I’m not from Washington and this is my first cheesesteak In Washington so I can’t confirm nor deny this claim. However I’ve eaten my fair share of cheesesteaks and this one was really freaking good! I got a 12" classic extra white American and fries. The steak was flavorful and juicy. The extra cheese was not on top so not fully melted but I assumed that was so customers can see their extra cheese they ordered so it made sense to me! The fries are battered and crispy and the kimchi aioli was dynamite! The only thing I’d change is the ranch. It’s clearly out of a bottle and not handmade which is a must at a place like this!
8.10.25: Finally had a chance to check out this place. It was a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't very busy when we walked in. Nice, big clean space and not cluttered. My friend is into Philly Cheesesteaks and I wanted to try the veggie rice bowl. So at the ordering counter, there's a bell to ring for help or to ask questions. With that said, it's a DIY kiosk tablet that was pretty simple and user friendly. My friend got a traditional Philly Ribeye Cheesesteak with extra cheese and an order of cheese fries. I got the veggie rice bowl with all the veggies offered except for jalapenos. I choose 2 sauce options: soy aioli and gochujang. I also got a side order of fries. My veggie bowl arrived hot and steamy and had a pretty good flavor profile considering I chose 2 sauces. Rice to veggies was proportionate and the portion itself was worth the value too. If there's any suggestion, it would be to use a different rice or add a little water to it throughout the day as it's on the warmer so it doesn't dry out as fast. I'm a bit weird and like my veggies slightly undercooked and will ask for that next time. Overall, I enjoyed the veggie rice bowl. Now, the fries were amazing! Great crisp, tender inside, and best of all it had this texture I only come across sometimes. I tried to take a pic to capture what I mean. But ikyk! My friend, at first glance of his Philly, wondered where all the cheese was since he ordered extra cheese. Well, it's safe to say it was nicely folded into the meat because after taking a few bites, he said it really liked it and that it was definitely cheesy. He got 2 different cheeses and said next time he will order extra peppers. He also made mention of the bread used and how he liked it and that the bread used could make or break the sandwich. In the end, he wished he ordered another sandwich to-go for later lol. The cheese fries were SUPER CHEESY so if you're into that, definitely order it. There was only 1 gentleman working, cooking, and cleaning. I want to guess he was the owner. He was really friendly and helpful and cooked us up a great lunch. On a sidenote, bathrooms need a code and the women's was really clean.
The chef is KOREAN!! Had to get the Japchae, and it was bomb! My parter got bulgogi cheesesteak with kimchi aioli, and that was bomb too 🤤🤤

## 5 Stars! Phillylicious on E. Sprague: Creative Cheesesteaks & Beyond Phillylicious on E. Sprague is a fantastic spot for a delicious and satisfying meal, especially if you're looking for something beyond the typical cheesesteak. Their self-serve ordering system is super slick and easy to use, making the whole process a breeze. But the real star of the show is the food! Their cheesesteaks, of course, are phenomenal. But what really impressed me was the variety of options available. From classic builds to creative takes with different meats and toppings, there's something for everyone. And it's not just cheesesteaks! They offer a great selection of vegetarian options, which is always a plus. Plus, their rice bowls sounded amazing - a delicious way to get a complete and flavorful meal. Overall, Phillylicious on E. Sprague is a winner. The self-serve ordering is convenient, the food is fantastic (with both familiar favorites and exciting options), and the atmosphere is casual and inviting. I highly recommend checking it out!
Co-worker suggested cheese steak sandwiches from here for lunch. Sandwich was amazing! Fresh and flavorful. Will absolutely be back to try more of the menu.
Glad to see these folks opened up another location in the area we regularly shop. We liked them a lot! Korean is such a good choice to 'fusion' with, because of their bold flavors and mildly hot spices. Melding those flavors with a traditional style philly cheese sandwich is a great option. We enjoyed a quick lunch while shopping; prices/portions were good, and the folks there were friendly. That's a winning combination for our family...
