Complimentary Cafe

Glad we found it. Great ambiance (plants and the LoFi sound included), great coffee (no pour-overs, but got some of the best Americano I've had recently) and surprising empanadas (tried creative "samosa" crossover). Clean bathrooms. Street parking. The only problem - 14 miles away from home.... But a great choice among the growing coffee spaces popping up in this area!

Great espresso, great food, great vibe 🤍 We ordered a cortado, vanilla cappuccino and 2 Argentinian chicken empanadas. Everything was amazing, great flavor and served hot. Loved the vibe, had various seating options and very clean. Prices seemed appropriate for quality of food items. The barista was very attentive and polite. If you’re driving through or live in this area and haven’t tried it yet, you need to stop here!

Such a beautiful and elevated space! I had an ice americano and the veggie samosa! So yummy! The service was kind and attentive! I love the quotes on all the cups! They’re all intentional and not some rushed half ass smiley face 😉 It’s cool to see so many different people from the community gather here! The vibes are on point ✨

Complimentary Cafe is hands down one of my favorite spots in Skokie! The compliment on my coffee cup made me smile more than I expected such a simple, yet powerful idea. The drinks are outstanding.I've tried their signature lattes and refreshing mocktails, and both were crafted with care. Their pastries are fresh and pair perfectly with anything on the menu. I also appreciate their seasonal offerings and how they keep the menu interesting and locally sourced. What really sets this cafe apart is the vibe. The decor is modern, cozy, and aesthetically pleasing ideal for catching up with friends or working quietly on your laptop. I’ve seen families, students, and professionals all enjoying the space comfortably. The owners have clearly put their heart into this place, and it shows. They're involved, kind, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the community. Complimentary Cafe is more than just a coffee shop,it’s an experience that lifts your mood and keeps you coming back. Highly recommend to anyone in the area or even just passing through! Shoutout to Sara and Zehraan, Zehraan suprises me with new drinks and Sara has the best latte art.

Great selection of food and amazing coffees. Try a unique experience. Staff was very helpful and friendship as this was my first time there with my friend.

Came here so many times we went through a few stamp cards 😂 the little complements are so cute! Always ask for extra matcha (6/10) Lavender matcha (7/10) the lavender is very strong Black seed late (10/10) Raspberry refresher (7/10) Caramel macchiato (10/10) Spanish late (9/10)

Always come here to work as the drinks and service are excellent. Staff here is really kind and make this cafe seem like "home". Lots of people come here to meet up with their friends, study, or WFH— truly a great spot. As well the notes on the cup add the cutest touch:)
