Sumo Buffet

The food was great they had a good variety of sushi! The rice was ok it was a little sweet for my liking but thats my opinion. We went for lunch and everyone was friendly! The only thing I would say is they should have some lite music to play to break the silence. It was super quiet in there.

We like it !! We go here often. Parking lot is huuuuge ! It's is located right on Youree Dr and can handle larger vehicles, trailers, and even RVs. The inside is always clean. The dining is also huge and can comfortably sit larger parties - or the solo diner. The staff is professional and do a great job !! The food is great. It too, is huge. The first time or two we were there is didn't even realize there was a another coupla bars there! Plenty choices of meat, veggies, soups, sushi, and desserts. We've never had an issue with cold food ( unless it's sposed to be cold), old, nor bland. Granted, every thing might not be to my personal liking, but there is enough for me to choose from !! Clean restrooms and wheelchair accessible.

We love this buffet! It’s our go-to before making a Sam’s Club run so we don’t go grocery shopping hungry. The staff are nice; great selection of sushi, seafood, noodles, rices and desserts.

I LOVE to eat at Sumos! The food always taste good and they have really good coke zero!! They are always nice to us and we always sit by the sushi bar. It's the coldest spot in there.

I probably need to try this place again because I really couldn't decide what I wanted to eat that night. I really didn't find a favorite dish bit the cream cheese wontons hit the spot three most that night. I should have tried something cooked fresh on the hibachi grill but I didn't take the time. On my first visit to Sumo, I left feeling it was better than China Flag but will have to go back when I'm more in the mood for Chinese food. They did have a large selection of sushi which is usually an afterthought on a buffet. The biggest downside to my visit was having to put up with the overly loud and overly giggly waitresses.

Not overly impressed. Everybody standing around watching you like your gonna steal the tables. Don't have to every go back. Very spacious. Handicap accessible. Everything is fried except some fish, sushi, fruit and the noodles. For one adult and 2 kids it was over $45 (dinner prices are more after 3). Wontons was about the best thing and the broccoli.

The waitress we had was very attentive and polite and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, however, that was the only good aspect of our experience. Me and my family went together, and within a day, became sick, and our symptoms are worsening daily. I hesitated to blame the food at first until I found out my brother, who almost never gets sick, also came down with this mysterious illness. Had the food been even slightly better than mediocre, I might not be as upset about the terrible fever I have while writing this. On another note, they were selling different merchandise at the front, including fake labubus for nearly $30 (that I unfortunately fell for). Would not recommend buying merchandise from them. My new son is ugly and bald. I am choosing to tell everyone it's the Louisiana water.
