Kumo sushi

Kim always go above and beyond. Her level of service is unmatched. She is one of the nicest people I ever met in my life. All the food is so delicious and always so fresh. To me the best sushi restaurant in Shreveport-Bossier. They have the best atmosphere and it is my favorite hangout, after work environment.

I’d like to address the seafood allergy comments and ratings first. If you have a shellfish allergy, choosing to dine at a sushi and hibachi restaurant, where raw and cooked seafood dominates the menu, seems risky. The air alone could potentially trigger a reaction due to the prevalence of shellfish and seafood. I don’t believe the staff or restaurant should be held responsible for an allergic reaction when the menu clearly focuses on these ingredients. On a positive note, my husband and I had a great experience here. He had his wisdom teeth removed today and was craving soup, so we stopped by this place on a whim, knowing nothing about it. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. We placed a to-go order, and it was ready in just 15 minutes. The restaurant thoughtfully included everything we needed in the to-go bag—sauces, chopsticks, and all the essentials for a complete meal. The food was exceptional, earning a solid 10/10, even after a 35-minute drive home. The seafood ramen was perfectly balanced—not overly fishy, with just the right amount of spice and packed with delicious ingredients. I ordered the hibachi bento box, which was generously portioned, easily enough for two meals. This spot will definitely be our go-to whenever we pass through Shreveport!

AWESOME FOOD !Nice Casual atmosphere. has booths and tables and a bar side sushi bar! we have lived in some big city's with great sushi restaurant's & we are huge Sushi fans.. 4 years ago we moved to a small Louisiana town with no sushi places. While shopping in Shreveport with my wife we found this gem. The rolls were awesome and so was the hibachi meal that we split . They use the correct rice and it was ultra fresh and I have to say this was the best I've had in YEARS! Kim was our server, she was fast and sweet and even helped us save $ by pointing out the specials on the Sushi menu.. Very impressed and we will come back next month!

I've eaten here for the past 3 years and I've never had anything bad! Today I had to order take out and I got the Avocado Bomb for the 2nd time. This one became a quick favorite of mine! Anytime I get to eat here with my dad the service is great, staff is friendly and most of all the food is amazing! Thank you Kumo for making my lunch dates with my dad so special!

What is loss by the old Pizza Hut building is more than made up by the friendly wait staff and the wonderful food presentation. The sushi is great.

We had a great experience! We got 2 baked rolls and friend rice. Everything was delicious!! Our server was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Was skeptical to try sushi in Shreveport but I was wrong. This place is legit and I'll definitely start bringing my Houston friends here. Margo was a top notch server and very knowledgeable on all the menu choices. Don't pass on this place!
