What a delightful surprise! The menu has something for everyone. I had the pasta carbonara and every bite was absolute perfection. It was served with a piece of Texas toast, garlic bread that really rounded out the dish. Our server was extremely friendly.
Came to Cheeky Cafe for Saturday brunch with my partner and were seated immediately - always a good start. The space has high ceilings and a casual, slightly unpolished feel that actually works really well with the food. There's a big chalkboard menu at the counter, but they'll also hand you a paper menu, which I appreciated. Between the two of us, we tried a lot: the loco moco meatloaf, carbonara, a slice of French toast, and the cinnamon fry bread. The carbonara was solid and comforting - a classic execution, nothing fancy. The loco moco meatloaf was fine on its own, but the curry-forward, Asian-influenced sauce is what made it shine. The absolute standout, though, was the cinnamon fry bread. If you grew up on Asian fry bread, this will take you straight back. It genuinely made me happy, and I'd come back just for that alone. Our waitress was sweet, attentive, and friendly throughout. A great brunch spot with soul - and that fry bread is reason enough to return.
This little gem, tucked away in a charming residential neighborhood, is already calling me back! The food was absolutely scrumptious, a burst of fresh ingredients and homemade goodness that truly delighted the senses and the soul. The woman who served us was a joy, making the experience so warm and welcoming. Seriously, give this place a try – it's clear this hardworking local business pours love into their craft. My tastebuds are practically vibrating with anticipation for my next visit (and I was just there yesterday!).
I’ve been to this place so many times that I couldn’t count. The fact that the owner remembered my order 😂 My partner usually ordered pancake or french toast. And I alternated between spicy mac and pasta carbonara. We’re vegetarian and this place offers to substitute meat with veggies sausage which is extremely good. We come here one a week and always feel excited every time I’m here. Highly recommend this place.
Cheeky Cafe was an outstanding breakfast/brunch experience on a beautiful May Sunday. Service was congenial and helpful, and the atmosphere inside was inviting and relaxing. The menu was much more varied than I anticipated and everything appeared appetizing. The dishes we received were absolutely delicious (I definitely recommend the spam and eggs) and I am very excited to try more next time we're back!
Last August, I visited Seattle with my husband for a concert and met this cozy Cafe with delicious food! We were staying at a nearby Airbnb and found this gem. We went two days in a row as we liked it so much. The first day, we ordered pasta carbonara (super filling) and bacon eggs toast, I forgot iced tea in Seattle with no taste at all and regreated to order it. The second day, we ordered Garden omelet (i loved it), chicken fried steak (punch of flavor and crunchy), and quiche . The staff is friendly and super fast. Good amount of food and prices are worth it.
Honestly had high expectations coming in.. I wanted to love this cafe sooo badly… but I didn’t have a great experience. 1. Came in, place was full & put myself on the waiting list - waited about 10 - 12 mins or so. 2. When the bussed my table, IT SMELT BAD! Definitely don’t think they’re changing their sani buckets often with hot water/bleach because it smelt TERRIBLE - made me nauseous. 3. After placing my order it then took another 30 mins, just to get pancakes/frenchtoast.. 4. Their cheeky frenchtoast filling felt lacking.. barely any berries, no cream, and outside just felt burnt. Could’ve used some whip - that would’ve made it better. 5. Lastly, there was a hair in our chicken sausage.. that made me lose my appetite so I didn’t even eat my French toast and left hangry.. I kept looking at the two chefs in the back who only had a bandana instead of a hairnet… YIKES. Oh also, when I got coffee, there was only brown sugar and I notice across someone had a whole variety.. when asking for sugar, the waiter said "oh, brown sugar doesn’t work for you?" And I felt like asking for Splenda was just too much for them.. Hot take, I rather wait later then have a fast, great, kind service.. versus just trying to get everyone in seats quickly and then have rude, rushed, poor quality, yet slow to receive food service.
