Cafe Belltown

Oh my goodness! I went there for dinner last night and had a chicken gyro. That thing was stacked with deliciousness. A good serving of both meat and veg. I was so full I had a stomach ache. Try to pace yourself and plan on a walk afterward. The cafe is family run (Mother, Father, Daughter) and all genuinely very friendly and kind. The environment is very calm relaxing. They have a full coffee/ tea menu in addition to their soup, sandwich, salad menu. Overall an excellent find.

We walked passed on our way somewhere else, but purposefully went back the next day because it looked so unique. Korean, Greek, sandwiches, coffee, so many options. Having lived in Korea, the bulgogi and dumplings took me straight to Seoul. The service was excellent as well. Overall, amazing place.

4 stars for service. 3 for food -- I got the chicken fried rice with kim chi and it was very greasy. I wouldn't go back but the woman who ran the cafe was so sweet and her place so quirky, I can't help but leave 4 stars :))

I came in for teriyaki, but changed my mind for the bulgogi gyro (bulgogi is Korean bbq beef). It is pita bread, bulgogi, hummus, tzatziki sauce, lettuce and cucumber (has onions). Served with fries. I'm so glad I tried it! The customer service was genuine and encouraging. She takes pride in her product and wants her customers to enjoy what the order. I will be back!

I recently moved to the area and when I searched for "teriyaki" I was disappointed to see that there wasn't anything really close to me. (I'm on 1st and Battery) While walking home from Target one day, I noticed this place has teriyaki so I obviously immediately went in to try it and was not disappointed. I've since been back two more times and can attest to the consistency, which is always nice when dealing with food. I've only had the spicy chicken teriyaki because that's what I always order when I eat teriyaki, and this place has definitely earned my repeat business. (and not just because they're so close to my house) My only piece of constructive criticism would be for them to give you a tad more rice with your meal. Compared with most teriyaki places I've eaten at (and I've eaten at A LOT of them) they do skimp on the rice a bit but nothing crazy. Still plenty for a full meal, I just usually like to eat half and save the other half for later but find it more difficult with these portions due to not having more rice.

Unique Korean family run cafe with all kinds of good food including breakfast. Friendly owners and if not busy willing to make her family style omelette with cabbage and carrots...yummy..

PERMANENTLY CLOSED. This is our favorite local place for a quick bite. The owner/operator is delightful, the ramen is spot on, and their kimchi is homemade and delicious.
