Vons Saratoga

It's a small restaurant maybe 4-5 tables. Mostly designed for take out. The server was super nice and attentive. I came at 3pm on weekday and it's their new location on Saratoga in W San Jose It's my first time trying Vons He let me sample the original soy garlic Padak and Korean spicy red sauce and garlic I chose small half original soy(#1) and half padak

I really love their fried crispy chicken and yangneum chicken with its thin batter. Crispy but juicy inside. Even my 8 years old picky eater boy kept saying that it was so good. Childen can enjoy when you choose mild for the spicy level. I recently visited twice, one dine-in and one take out. Of course it tastes more fresh and better at the restaurant, but I was surprised that it wasn’t soggy at all but still cripsy and hot after 20minutes drive. Service was good with prompt and kind staffs. I recommend cheese ball for dessert. It’s a little sweet and chewy covered with crispy mochi and cheese fillings. I will definitely come again for next time.

Great service, prompt cooking, spacious place. Lunch specials was AMAZING but it lacked one thing that all fried chicken places gives me; some sort of kimchi to digest the oil 😬😅But chicken & fries were great!!!

They have new items that the other vons don't have. I tried the boneless wings side,4 pieces. Devoured 2 of them already. Different cut of chicken, maybe breast. Lightly battered with light seasoning. Try this place instead of the other Von's. And shoutout to the cashier lady Maiya for being helpful with the ordering.

They got their consistently great heavily battered fried chicken (consistent across all chain locations I tried). Place is cozy and not too busy. Unfortunately they don’t have the fancy Korean instant noodle machines like the store in Sunnyvale but they got banger rice dishes.

Wonderful, under new ownership! Dominic and the team are so kind. Food is delicious! First time here and definitely becoming a returning customer

Simply phenomenally perfect chicken. Service is so accommodating. Best personality at thr front! I love it! I had the cheddar chicken. Crisp at every bite is divine. Thank you Vons Saratoga! -Teddy
