Jackie's Place - North

This place had a full parking lot so we knew it was going to be good! We ordered our food and got it right away so it was HOT and delicious! The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. We don’t really like to scan the QR code to order but it wasn’t a problem. We will definitely be back when in the area.

I'm a foodie I love to try new food and new places. The service was great. The vibe was good, very friendly. I was really looking forward to trying soul food for the first time and was recommended to this place by a friend. I ordered the fried wings and side of 2 Mac and cheese. My husband ordered the smoked beef brisket and a side of chili bean and Mac and cheese. The food was okay. I really expected more especially since it's my first time trying soul food. The fried wings were okay, it wasn't the best thing I've had. It was a bit salty though. The Mac and cheese were dry, and not really enjoyable. I'd give my meal a 5/10.

Portions are huge, so come hungry or plan for leftovers.

I’m mad at myself for not trying this spot sooner. Everything we tried was amazing, especially the fried fish and candied yams. Servers were SO generous and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. I will 100% be coming back and bringing more people with me so they can also fall in love with Jackie’s.

The ribs were good, the brisket however was pretty dry. service was not the greatest, didn’t like I had to order on an app instead of a waitress. Wanted a refill on my tea and was told I had to order on the app at a cost. Atmosphere was decent and seating was good.

Nice environment friendly staff. I didn't too much care for the macaroni and cheese, But all the other things I've tried was delicious. The drinks at the bar was on point. I definitely would come back.

Loved it, superb spot. Hard to find as it is tucked away. The best way is going northbound on N First street and turning into the parking lot, which was pretty big. Food was amazing, the dinning room was huge and had a good lively vibe. The chicken has a heavy smoke flavor and was super tasty and seasoned to perfection. The pulled pork was tender but could use a bit more flavor.
