SGD Tofu House San Jose

This is our go to Korean place. It’s a no nonsense restaurant ran by two ladies who are so nice. We get the fried potstickers and Japchae for the kids and get spicy pork bulgogi which is enough for two with all the side dishes you get and leftovers from kids 😃

We had lunch here with family on Feb 28, 2026. We ordered the Dumpling Tofu Soup, KimChi Soft Tofu soup, Meat Jun, Seafood Pancake and BBQ Pork. It was delicious. It mirrored the food have tried at their Santa Clara location. It is nice to have good tofu/Korean food restaurant on the south side of San Jose closer to where we live.

Very friendly staff, service was somewhat quick, couple of side dishes, the spicy squid rice cake was delicious! I enjoyed it very much. The cold noodle was somewhat plain for me, It was good enough on the hot weather but it could have had little bit more of something, I don’t really know what could have made it better. Maybe the noodles were little overcooked? Not sure. They offer tofu salad as complimentary which was very nice! Lots of parking.

Service was great! Friendly and nice my brother and i felt welcomed <3 i ordered the spicy cold noodles and OMG i didnt need to add anything else to it. It was perfect! Definitely my new regular spot now!!!

Arrived 5pm on a weekday, no problems parking right in front of the place Excellent food taste and quality. Ordered kimchi fried rice and kimchi spam pancake. Service was lovely Atmosphere was very good, quiet and relaxed

sgd tofu house is a chain located in the bay area, although i think each one is independently owned. The menu is the same across each tofu house but their side dishes vary by location. The blossom hill one has super friendly staff who make sure you are welcomed and appreciated for your business. Their tofu soup(soondubu) is the thing to get here. And yes they refill your side dishes if you ask. Lots of table seating and there was no line during dinner on a weekday but might be a wait during peak hours. Parking is easy as the plaza has a lot of spots Would recommend if you are craving tofu soup in the area!

Disappointed with this restaurant. Despite the temperature being nearly 90 degrees, they didn't turn on the air conditioning, which made the dining environment uncomfortable. Additionally, while one of the waitresses was pleasant, the other one seemed unfriendly. Although the food tasted homemade, the portion sizes was small and overpriced. For example, the Beef Stoneware $27, the Seafood Pancake $22, and the Fried Dumplings $15.
