Pelicana Chicken

Excellent service, ambience and food. The original chicken is not battered but fried to a golden crisp . Fries are amazing, cheese balls to die for. The gungjang and rose ttoboeki are so yummy if you like rice cakes I would reccommend to anyone

Earlier this week, we went to @pelicana_sa for dinner. Great chicken being offered for a year and a half now. Juan was our attentive server. We had the Original Fried Chicken with signature sauce (half order) and Original Fried Wings with honey soy sauce. 3 orders of pickled radish came with our order. Yum! I preferred the honey soy sauce because of the sweetness. We also had an order of Onion Rings. Perfectly crispy. We had extra wings to take home. Tummies happy! If you haven't tried, you should check them out!

We decided to go here on a whim for dinner since we were nearby and we would definitely go again. It is more of a restaurant/small bar setting. We were seated almost right away. Our waiter was great. He was attentive with our drink refills which is appreciated because my meds make me really thirsty. Now onto the food, we ordered the sweet potato fries, the crispy fried chicken with a side of the hot and spicy sauce, the cheese tteokbokki and the spicy pasta. 3/5 Sweet potato fries were mid. The size and portion size were great. Nothing special. It could’ve been a bit more crispy but it’s just our preference. 5/5 for the crispy fried chicken. It was made cooked to order and super crispy. The sauce was good to me and it was definitely spicy but the kick hits towards the end (be advised). 4/5 for the cheese tteokbokki. It was super spicy which I loved but be prepared. And it also has sliced fish cakes. 5/5 for the spicy pasta. It wasn’t spicy at all but it had an amazing taste. It also has slices of bacon. Overall, we’d go again.

What an amazing spot! The chicken was absolutely delicious—so flavorful and perfectly made. The inside of the restaurant has such a stunning and unique vibe, it really makes the whole experience special. The service was awesome, and I especially loved that there’s a space to take pictures—it adds such a fun touch! I highly recommend eating here. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Just loved everything about this eatery!

If you live in the area there is no reason for you to go anywhere else to get chicken wings. This is the go to spot that you must try. First of all the chicken wings are big. They are not skimpy on the meat and they dress them well with a reasonable amount of sauce on them. If you like spicy wings with just a light kick then this is for you but if you prefer just regular breaded then this place work exceptionally well too. The inside of the restaurant also looked pretty chill with a simple bar area and TV’s to watch sports. I don’t live permanently in San Antonio but if I did this would be a go to spot for me. Check it out!

I was surprised to hear that it served South Korean chicken instead of Mexican food. So glad my daughter suggested this place for lunch. The cashier was so friendly and explained to us their menu and popular items after I told her that it’s our first time there. We decided to order regular and crispy chicken wings with honey soy and signature sauces to go. They were good and came with packages of pickled radishes. We highly recommend this place and will go back to try their other menu items.

Must have more... crunchy, hot, delicious. I prefer the boneless option. Plenty of choices for seasoning or have them plain. Kimchi fried rice is one of my favorites. Tteobokki is hot and spicy. My kids love it as they love spice.
