Sen Organic Small Plate

I wish wish wish I lived closer to this restaurant! I visited earlier this week, on a last minute day trip to Richmond. I wanted a warm noodle soup, and was finding it difficult to find a place open (president’s day/monday). Well, I was walking down the street and smells the most wonderful aroma… Vietnamese food! So I decided to stop in. The service was amazing, my waiter was so nice and attentive. Now… the food. My gosh. I’m still thinking about this soup. I try to eat mostly plant based, so I was so intrigued about the sen hu tieu chay vegan soup. Genuinely this was the most delicious soup I’ve ever had. I’m still thinking about it. I was in heaven the entire time eating this. I cannot wait to come back one day.

Sen Organic has quickly become my new favorite spot in Carytown. The space itself is quaint and charming, the kind of place that instantly makes you feel welcome. The service is warm and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Vegetarians will be especially delighted here with a menu packed with creative options you don’t often find elsewhere. Artichokes are the unsung hero for vegetarians. Sen serves them up breaded and lighly pan fried like momma used to make! I honestly wish more restaurants were this inventive with their vegetarian offerings. The potato pie, which was full of rich, comforting flavor and beautifully seasoned. To top it all off, the vegan skillet cookie was a delightful indulgence, warm, gooey, and the perfect sweet finish. If you’re looking for a restaurant that’s as thoughtful as it is delicious, Sen Organic is a must-visit. Charming, creative, and full of flavor. It’s everything a Carytown favorite should be. It’s also a perfect stop after spa service at their Sen Organic Day Spa.

Awesome food, excellent service, quality ingredients, all organic. GF and vegan options. Quality beef and pork as well. $$$ but more than worth it. We will be back soon. So many delicious options it was hard to decide what to order. The Bánh Mi was excellent but the picture failed.

Incredible attention to detail and high quality food. For lunch, you feel like you’re eating at a spa. Highly recommend the spring rolls. They’re actually quite big and a good size for lunch (together, maybe 40% as big as a chipotle burrito)

Yep, it's a little bit spendy, but good, so so good. You've heard the saying you get what you pay for and my money was well spent here. Intimate seating inside, great outdoor patio seating available. Devoured the Pho with Beef Brisket.

I really enjoy this restaurant. I’ve had the bun cha gio & the pho with brisket & chicken. They were both super good! The brisket in the pho was to die for. They both had really good flavor. The golden rolls were okay. Great service, they brought it out to my car. Very cute patio and inside. It is a more expensive place, but it’s worth it to be organic and allergen free at times, in my opinion and be that good! Pro tip: order on toast not with other pickup companies unless you like paying an extra $10 per plate

I had such a great experience here yesterday. The lightly fried artichoke appetizer was so good. The sauces were unique, and not too heavy. The tea's were great and there was a good selection where most place's tea is beyond an afterthought. Sooo refreshing to have a variety to select from. They were also served on cool little wooden trays - kettle and cup. It would have been nice to have an N/A Beer option as well, but I am not going to ding them for that... good tea outweighs every time. Service was just right. Hip crew. I had "The Heat of Squid." So good. Large chunks of squid perfected seasoned with an amazingly complex chili sauce. I live up in Alexandria and will be making a special trip back. I also tasted a little bit of each of my family's meals and everything was exceptionally fresh. I was so puzzled to see a 4.2 Rating. This place crushes any Vietnamese restaurant that I have been to and I have gone to dozens. Sen Organic is a great find!
