Taste of S'Hymn

I recently visited this new place called "쉼" for the first time with eight of my friends after a long time. While I felt the lighting was a bit dim and could be brighter, the cozy atmosphere and warm interior design made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. What I loved the most was how every dish reflected the use of rich ingredients and heartfelt preparation. The seasoning of the Korean dishes reminded me of my mom’s homemade cooking, with its familiar and delightful flavors. All my friends unanimously exclaimed how delicious everything was. I feel like this will become a place I’ll visit often from now on!

The most delicious Korean-American cuisine! I tried S’hymn’s special burger, and it was amazing! The patty was cooked perfectly, a juicy delicacy paired with a savory bun. I could not help but want more! The hotteok is definitely a must try. This unique take on the traditional Korean dessert was so good; a crispy, warm pancake paired with a scoop of cold sweet, vanilla ice cream. I’ll def be back here time and time again! All the staff here were super kind and lovely. Atmosphere is so cozy and calm, great for family dinners or coming alone!

I’m new in Plano, and decided to go across the street to eat real quick. Esther took my order, she was so nice! I asked her what the difference between Fresh Kimchi & the Regular kimchi, and she explained it and let me try some before I made my final decision! That was above & beyond customer service from Esther! Rachel came out from the back, and spoke to me as well, very funny & lovely lady~ The whole atmosphere of S’Hymn is calming, with pretty decor, & the hospitality is a 10! I got the La Galbi, and asked for a slight modification with the rice and let them know I’d be totally okay with an up charge, and Esther checked with the chef, and they were able to accommodate me! I was hoping the food matched their level of service……AND IT DID!! Very nice & generous portions. Food is delicious! I got it to go, and it tasted as if I ate it there. The beef was seasoned very well, the salad was fresh & tasty. The kimchi was crisp and fermented deliciously, just the right amount of spice. The rice I got was egg fried rice (up charge) and totally worth it! Rice was soft & flavorful~ Definitely will be going back as a regular customer to continue trying their menu!

I came here during lunch. Food is delicious I got the Salmon Steak, Dumplings and the Strawberry ade. The sauce that comes with the Salmon Steak is amazing. Dumplings were very crispy on the outside and soft of the inside! Strawberry Ade was very refreshing! I will be coming back for sure.

Authentic Korean food, cozy environment, considerate staff, amazing service. I ordered Japchae and it was flavorful and delicious and the portion was pretty large. They have to-go as well.
