B2J Fish Soup Plano 不二家酸菜鱼 Plano

The food here was delicious! If you like spicy, it's a good amount of spice but with a lot of flavor and not just spiciness. Did the small 2 for 2 (you get the main dish and 2 sides meant for 2 people) and that was more than enough food. Rice was also included AND you get free refills. A lot of Asian restaurants have been charging for rice since the pandemic, so free rice isn't as common anymore. Got the tomato soup and the numbing peppercorn soup (the green one). Sides were fried fish skin and fried pork. Service was also really good and I would absolutely come again!

This place is really authentic and delicious! Honestly, I don’t want this restaurant becomes too popular yet, for sure this place will be crowded soon. The fish is very fresh(in Dallas!!), cucumber salad, and the fried buns and the mochi!! They are amazing. I don’t review often, however this place is the place you need to check it out!

Come here all the time. Never disappointed. The soup is packed with flavor, a little sour, a little spicy, and the fish is super fresh and tender. I loved being able to add extra veggies and mushrooms. Always get combo 2 and get the leftover cus it’s a big portion. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the place has a chill, cozy vibe. Honestly, it’s the kind of spot you can come back to again and again. Definitely recommend it.

I recently dined at the B2J Fish Soup location in Plano and was thoroughly impressed! We ordered the Best-Value Combo. The fish was incredibly fresh—tender, clean, and perfectly cooked—served in a rich tomato broth that was both comforting and flavorful. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The soup was beautifully enhanced with tofu, fresh lotus root, and delicate chrysanthemum petals, making it as visually stunning as it was delicious. For sides, we had the tangy pickled chicken feet with lemon and peppers, and the crispy fried chicken wings, which were juicy and well-seasoned. Their white rice was also a standout—fluffy and the perfect complement to the meal. To finish, we tried the House Made Fresh Milk Mochi for dessert. It was a pleasant surprise—light, not overly sweet, and just the right touch after a hearty meal. The presentation was thoughtful, and the portion sizes were generous. If you’re a fan of bold, authentic Chinese flavors and fresh seafood, B2J is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I really liked the vine pepper broth, it felt lighter and more aromatic than the spicy boiled fish I’ve tried somewhere else. I also felt it had the right amount of heat where you can still taste the aromatics. The service was excellent and kids friendly. Also, the place was impeccable. It was very clean, seats and pillows were pristine and very comfortable A/C during the Texas summer heat. I think it has around 7 tables so it could fill up fast during rush hour but I appreciate how spacious were the seat pitch.

Great food, though the service was just okay. They are definitely not stingy with the appetizer portions, and the original flavor soup tasted great (though it could use a little more fish and clear noodles). Our server didn't check on us during the meal, and we had to flag them down just to get the bill. Despite the service, the food is good enough that we will be back for sure.

Absolutely loved the pickled fish here! The broth was rich and flavorful with a perfect balance of sour and spicy, and the fish was very fresh and tender. Portion size was generous, and everything tasted comforting and authentic. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
