Mochinut Plano

We came in on a sunday afternoon. The staff was very pleasing and attentive. She made recommendations and helped us choose. We got a set of 3 mochi donuts, oreo was my favorite. However, I have had better mochi donuts so I was not impressed. We also ordered a hot cheetos corn dog which was something new. The kids liked eating it. I was not a fan of eating a sausage dipped in batter, fried and covered with crushed cheetos. The place could have been cleaner.

My second time here came for the mochinuts and tried for the first time the half cheese half hot dog, also got the original and the ube mochinut. I loved it all. The half cheese half beef hot dog is very flavorful and has a dense consistency which I really like. The combination of the mochi over it just hits different. I really don’t eat hot dogs often because I am so picky but It’s probably the best hot dog I’ve ever had. The service was great. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the chocolate mochi donut the crispness and freshness to it was very good. I enjoyed the chocolate frosting. Churro was decent too. They had a good seating overall too.

Just picked up some mochi donuts of every flavor and they were amazing! Will be the only place I go to now for donuts. What truly set this place apart was the customer service. It's been a very long time since I've been blown away by such outstanding customer service. Super friendly and helpful. So glad I found this place and look forward to going back soon!

The service at Dough was absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The donuts looked phenomenal; visually, they were a treat. However, I was disappointed by the texture and taste. They seemed a bit stale and didn’t have that fresh-out-of-the-oven feel. It was a reminder that sometimes, something can look incredible but fall short when it comes to flavor. A little more freshness would have made all the difference.

Mochinut is different from regular donuts because they use sticky rice flour. It gives the donuts a slightly chewy texture and they are gluten free. Been here many times and consistently excellent customer service. Trey and Alex take great care of the customers. I remember first coming here and didn’t know what to pick. Trey was super patient while I picked the donuts. One time I came in to pick up a couple dozen donuts and milk tea without warning for a work event and Trey didn’t break a sweat. He got out the order fast and accurate. The restaurant is clean and has lots of space. The donuts always taste fresh. I haven’t had the rice hotdogs but will get that next time. They play energetic music and most of the time it is Korean kpop. Great place to hang out and eat a Mochinut and get a milk tea.

The real scoop and it was a 2 star but the actual donut saved them from that…..obviously this place needs to find its claim de fame and it’s donut NOT this deep friend state fair corn dog …. No wonder it was on special (buy one get the same exact one free $6.99 savings) can’t try other options…..for the money stick to the dessert….the guy at the register doesn’t really know what’s going on (seems like management/ownership change is occurring) he’s more concerned with the register….. The hotdog mozzarella fried hot Cheeto talks things looks good but then you bite it and it’s instant regret…..fresh out the fryer yes we knew what we were getting but still had to try and boy was it an error. Just save your money and calories and go get a burger or fried chicken or like something more bang for buck Donuts good soft not to sweet plenty of flavor and good options it’s the namesake of this establishment so yea pretty good! Thank you But bc we and the kids took this fried contraption home bc I just didn’t want to throw it away….. guess what ended up in the can right when we got home the oil smell was too potent I mean i failed what was I thinking yet still I needed to give the feedback! Donut yes all else no thanks
