Customer Reviews
Caffe Social has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 583 reviews on Google
We drove an hour to this restaurant from NY because a friend said the food was good. We were not disappointed. The presentation of my hot chocolate brought a smile to my face. All of my food tasted good and was a nice size proportion. We were able to meet one of the owners, Elpida, and she was so pleasant to talk to. I would go back again. There is a parking lot in the back, but we didn't know so we parked on the street.
The food was absolutely delicious, fresh waffles with strawberries, great sandwiches, and amazing specialty drinks. Lots of vegetarian options which is nice. It’s such a cozy and reliable spot for a relaxed lunch. Highly recommend!
I was excited to try this place for the first time, but the experience was disappointing. We sat with the fire alarm going off for over 30 minutes, and despite the restaurant not even being packed, the service was extremely slow—no one took our drink order for a long time, and once we finally ordered, the drinks took forever to come out. The food came out quickly and tasted good, but I was surprised to see an automatic 20% tip added to the check considering the poor service. Overall, I’m not sure if I’d return.
We ordered breakfast for our 1 year anniversary. I put in the notes to the restaurant it was our anniversary and they sent us a free coffee cake saying happy anniversary with our order. Great food. Great people. Will be back
Menu looked great, lots of options in food and beverages…however that may be a mistake if the kitchen cannot handle/execute it all. I really do not like to say anything negative about food service establishments, but it’s annoying when "sweet potato hash browns" are part of a meal but what you get is luke warm mushy bits instead of crispy cubes and when I asked, they looked at me like I had two heads. If you can’t prepare sweet potatoes properly they simply should not be on the menu. Stick to regular potatoes. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel or try to be unique if you can’t pull it off. Maybe it was an off day?
Overall a solid experience here. The taco fries were amazing. The sweet and savory sandwich was just too sweet. It was decent but way too heavy and sweet for us. Same as the velvet hot chocolate. It was good for a few sips but then felt overpowering and really dense and sugar filled. It was good but can be a bit much. The lemon chicken soup was also very lemon heavy - basically all you’d really taste. It was good but again only for a few bites then was overpowering. Maybe we just got some wrong items - I definitely would come back and try other stuff. Just wanted to throw my thoughts here. The vibe was very nice here as well and the menu does still have a lot of other items I would choose!
Stopped by Cafe Social for their Father’s Day brunch — it was packed, which gave it a lively vibe. The food was solid; I had the egg wraps and tried one of their lavender drinks, both were really good. However, service was a bit off. We had to wait quite a while for milk, and by the time it arrived, the coffee had gone cold. The staff seemed overwhelmed and not very attentive, which took away from the overall experience. Good food, but they need to improve the service — especially during busy hours.
