I’m editing my original review because Daniela, the owner, personally reached out and went above and beyond to make things right. The level of care and customer service she showed truly impressed me and deserves recognition. It was clear they genuinely care about their customers and their standards. I came back today and tried the açaí bowl again, and it was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly how it should be. It honestly may have just been an off batch or handling issue the one time I had a bad experience. I really respect businesses that take feedback seriously, make things right, and stand behind their product. Because of how this was handled — and how good the bowl was this time — I’m happy to update and retract my original negative review. Customer service like this is rare, and it absolutely matters.

First and last time coming here. Napkins on the floor were the first thing I noticed. Then when we asked questions about the menu, the employee was rude. She was condescending and pointed to the menu and said,"It’s on the menu!" when we asked about items. The bowls were mid at best and I’ve never had such skimpy toppings. We paid for extra and there were barely any. I will stick to BobaTime where they load bowls with toppings that are included in the price and the staff don’t make you feel stupid for asking completely normal questions about the menu.

The girl that took our order was extremely rude. I wanted the ubatuba smoothie which comes with 1 extra topping but I didnt want to add anything else and she said I HAD to add another topping. I said i dont want to add anything else to it and she said "you have to" with a straight face lol how ridiculous she could have added more of one of the toppings already included. Then when I said nevermind im not going to order she gave a stank face. She needs to fix her attitude. Not coming back here.

I hate to be a Karen and complain but I’m disappointed in this establishment. Don’t get me wrong the bowls are amazing but the amount of skimping that happens on the large bowls is ridiculous. If you want to get your money’s worth just save your money and get the small. I have five other pictures exactly like this one. I pay 17 dollars for a "large" bowl only to get one filled as if it’s a small or a medium. Never full. This time not only was it not full but it had granola and I’m allergic to granola. By the time I got home and took my first spoonful it was too late to drive all the way back. Wish I would just get my monies worth and have my bowl filled like the small. The last time I told them this they gave me an excuse about the acai being blended which causes it to look lower however this time I got two bowls a small and a large to test my theory and yes they are indeed skimping on the large. Great bowls but bad portion sizes. These picture was taken on 7/11/24 for reference. The following pictures in my car were taken on 6/11/24. Please fix the issue, I’ve been a loyal customer for almost 10 years and I’d like to continue being a loyal customer when the issue is resolved.

Umatuba Açaí is an absolute delight! This charming café serves the most delicious and authentic açaí bowls, perfectly refreshing and packed with flavor. The cozy atmosphere, kid-friendly board games, and warm staff make it a perfect spot for families to relax and enjoy a little taste of Brazil. A must-visit for açaí lovers!

I went to Ubatuba in Northridge with a friend while I was on vacation. The location was not very busy. I paid for our food and somehow managed to lose my wallet (my magnetic wallet that literally attaches to the back of my phone). It had my credit card, debit card, and license in it. I don’t know how. It could have been lost in the bathroom or left on the counter somehow. I returned to the restaurant 5-10 minutes later searching for my wallet. When I asked staff about it they said they hadn’t seen anything but they didn’t even bother trying to look. It was not in the bathroom and they did not even both trying to help us find it. I know it is my fault for losing it but the lack of concern or help is very disappointing.

Such a great Acai bowl place if you're craving something healthy. My girlfriend and I was finally able to try this place tonight. When we walked in, we had to take a minute to look at their menu. We even asked for recommendations on which one would be best to try since it was our first time and they told us the Brazilian Style bowl so we went with that. For our topping we got Kiwi, Strawberry, Banana and a little honey. Our food didn't take long to be done, like only 5 minutes. Dine in is closed due to covid but they have a table outside next to the door if you want to eat there. Parking can also be tough even during covid because there other restaurants in the plaza that offers outdoor seating. Their bowl is very good though and fulfilling.
