Mate Conmigo

I felt immediately welcomed when I stepped inside. This place has a cozy vibe and the the owner is lovely. The sandwiches and empanadas were delicious! The mate lattes were unique and refreshing. My partner found the first caffeine drink he actually likes so that’s saying a lot. Also, this place is reasonably priced which is rare. They deserve all the support and business. Will be coming back in the future (:

This little cafe is homely, welcoming and has a feel of you belonging there instantly, being noticeably appreciated from the moment you walk in. English and Spanish alike, whether your intentions are mate, coffee, tea, hot/cold or satisfying your hunger, it’s a great place. From the moment I walked in I was treated like a family member by the owners and staff. A discussion about pastries, and mate ensued in depth like I was a visiting cousin. The hot mate service was prompt and the empanadas/sandwiches de miga I ordered were hot and tasty with an instant feeling like I was in Argentina. A highly recommended gem by all means.

This is one of the best cafes in the whole wide world. Vibes are immaculate. Tea is always amazing. Food and sweet treats are yummy! Definitely have a mate if you're in town 💕

Found this place while trying to kill time in the valley. They definitely have the best empanadas in LA, and as a person who does not really like mate, they made the drink taste incredible with guava syrup. Will definitely make the trek to the valley again for this place.

I've been going to this place for years! Gabriela's super cool and friendly, and she doesn't hesitate to make you try new stuffs! The food is just off the hook, grab a couple of empanadas and some pastries for some sweet treats. Add a traditional mate to feel like a true Argentinian!

A few of my friends have been raving about this place for months and after being here twice I totally get it. The drinks and food are delicious and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The shop itself is welcoming and nicely decorated. Their food and beverages are relatively inexpensive considering the quality. I will definitely continue to be a returning customer!

Very nice owners and delicious Empanadas! The mate latte is very refreshing and unique, and they took extra care to ask about my preferred sweetness level.
