Best bubble tea place in Chicago, hands down. Everything is made fresh—they even make the boba in-house twice a day, and you can truly taste the difference. Every drink is insanely delicious and high quality. The owner is incredibly kind and you can feel how much care and effort goes into this place. It’s always beautifully decorated with total Instagram/influencer vibes. We’re genuinely happy every time we come here. My daughter absolutely loves it, and it’s our go-to spot to bring friends and family. Truly amazing all around.Thank you!

The drinks are super refreshing and full of flavor — from the fruity teas to the creamy blends, everything tastes fresh and well-made. The presentation is also on point, and the staff is friendly and quick. We ordered a few drinks and also tried their dessert, and WOW — the warm donut with ice cream, macarons, chocolate drizzle, and that crispy pocky stick was absolutely next-level. Sweet, crunchy, warm, cold… everything in one bite! The shop itself has a cozy and aesthetic vibe, great lighting, and plenty of space to hang out, play cards, and just have a good time. Amazing drinks here as well as stellar service, my friends and I had so much fun here and played with some of their board games after a little study session! Great ambiance, especially if you’re trying to work on something. They even gave us a free drink! Highly recommend - we will definitely be back! 🍵💚

I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and this place never disappoints! I usually order my favorite — the Brown Sugar Milk Tea — and the owner and staff already know my order as soon as I walk in. They’re always so friendly, and the owner often encourages me to try something new from the menu. So far, I’ve tried their Egg Coffee, Mango Smoothie, Peach Lemongrass Oolong, and Thai Lychee Lemonade — all delicious! Recently, they added a new item, the Avokale Berry Bliss, and it was surprisingly both delicious and nutritious. This is truly my go-to spot for bubble tea. I’m so glad there’s one nearby — it’s always a great experience!

I came to Umbrella Tea House at 10:50 while it was still open and walked in just as a family walked out smiling with their drinks. My friend Maya and I were so excited to try the new Ultimate Ace milk tea we’ve been seeing all over TikTok. We wanted to do a review and make this place popping, but this lady completely ruined that opportunity. She had short hair with oddly vibrant colors and a bad attitude. I’m a hairstylist so I could help with that, but there’s only so much I can do. More importantly, she refused to take our order. I told her that you don’t close for another 10 minutes, and she lazily said no anyway. I left unhappy and unsatisfied, with no drink in my hand. So tonight I’m writing this review to point out this problem. I hope your experience is better than mine. ❤️
