Hongdae Sushi & Grill 홍대 스시

Everything was really good here! I came during their grand opening special where they’re doing 50% off all sushi rolls and it’s such a good deal. My favorites were the Veggie Caterpillar, Veggie Tempura, and the Crazy Girl roll (no spicy tuna, add sweet potato). The rolls were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I think the regular prices are a little high so right now is the best time to go while the promo is still running. Great service and nice atmosphere too. I would definitely go back!

Came here on Valentines Day. I made reservations for 5pm, and it wasn't too packed inside. Our Octopus Ball appetizers were very delicious, as were our drinks. The cocktails were presented very nicely as well. However, the star of the show was the Sushi Boat. This was amazing. I love Nagiri Sushi, and this boat was full of it. My girl ate the rolls, and I ate the Nagiri, plus the full pieces of fish that come on it as well. I highly recommend this place to any sushi lover. Its quite far from me, but I will be back!

The saying is businesses at Randhurst die, but I truly hope this one stays forever. It’s some of the best sushi I’ve had. The selections are great and the rolls are huge! You could easily fill up on one, but always want to get more because they all sound amazing. Especially the firecracker roll. It never seemed packed. Which I like. But this place deserves to be packed! 100/10.

Best dining experience ever. Manager was are server and was the coolest ever. She kept dabbing us up and checking up on us. The food was so bomb and the environment was so beautiful and vibey. We tipped the manager and although she refused at first she hugged us and gave us free ice cream. Best experience will be a monthly tradition.

Absolutely loved this place! Great vibe- outside is a huge nice patio and inside is stunning. Beautiful and modern and so fancy! Definitely a great place for any special occasion! Their sushi is what we came for and we were very impressed it was so good! The owner was so sweet and nice. The patio is definitely family friendly- my 3 year old was running around like crazy and it didn’t disturb anyone!

I enjoy the upbeat, fun time here. I got the, "I love sushi" plate - $36. I also got a scallop nigiri (this was awful and tasty very fishy. Normally this is my favorite). The pieces of fish for the nigiri and sashimi were very thick, not my favorite. The salad and miso soup were some of the best I have had. The room is nice to be in, very high tempo and fun. This would be a really nice date night. I enjoy it, not the greatest, not the best. Enjoy!

Great vibe, food and service. They just rebranded the restaurant to focus more on sushi and Im pleasantly surprised how great everything tasted! Large selection of rolls and presentation is awesome. Come check it out before their 50% off sushi rolls deal goes away!!!!
