Holy smokes (lol)! This is the BEST place. The food was UNREAL, the people were so kind and we were lucky enough to bring some of that delicious bbq sauce home with us. We had the smoked and deep fried chicken wings- so good. The brisket and pulled pork burgers were so good we almost ordered more to bring back to our hotel for breakfast. A must visit for sure!

5/5 Hidden Gem BBQ spot. Stopped in the other day and had one of the best pulled chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Meat was tender and had excellent flavor. You can tell they care about their craft here. Cajun Shrimp & Fries are must sides!

We had such a great experience at Tiano’s BBQ in Middletown! Nice little Valentines treat without having to deal with all the chaos- that a commercial place with mediocre service would’ve given. The woman taking our order was incredibly friendly and funny — a true people person. She recommended a few items, so we ordered them all and were so glad we did! (I really wish I remembered her name, she DOES deserve the recognition!) We started with the bacon pops (crispy and full of flavor) and the chicken bites with their in-house sweet chili sauce — both delicious. I had the Philly brisket sandwich, which was juicy with the perfect meat-to-cheese ratio and amazing smoky flavor. The potato salad tasted just like my grandma’s. My husband got the smokehouse burger with sweet potato fries — everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. We even grabbed the shrimp before leaving (so good!) and ordered another Philly brisket to bring home, plus one of their massive cookies. Amazing food and amazing service. We’ll definitely be back! 🙂

So upon pulling in the parking lot it was rough and we almost left but that's not the restaurants fault and as soon as you pull in the smell of the delicious bbq inside grabs you. The outside seating area out front isn't bad and we were told the back seating was amazing but the inside was tight but quaint. The service was not bad but they were a little overly attentive which makes me a little apprehensive about the food sometimes but no complaints about taste or flavor. We started with the appetizers ( Alabama shrimp and BBQ egg rolls) amazing. Egg rolls could have been a meal. Then the brisket and pulled pork were mouth watering. The side choices were the usual for a BBQ joint and the collared greens were delicious and that's a big factor for us. A lot of spots screw them up but theirs were delicious. Also the spicy cabbage is a must try. A word of advice, the mango wheat ale so very much compliments the food. Would definitely stop again. If your over that way stop and try them out. You won't be disappointed.

The Taino Mac and cheese was delicious and the brisket Philly sandwich was awesome. Highly recommend those 2 dishes.

An unforgettable meal at Taino Smokehouse in Middletown! We had an amazing experience from start to finish. We ordered the brisket meal, fried chicken meal, chicken bites, mac and cheese, and of course, the cornbread—and every single bite was incredible. The brisket was tender, smoky, and full of flavor. The fried chicken had the perfect crunch on the outside and was juicy on the inside. The chicken bites were crispy, well-seasoned, and addicting. The mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and comforting—everything you’d want in a side dish. And we can’t forget the cornbread—sweet, moist, and served warm. It was the perfect addition to the meal and honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the sweet tea, which was perfectly refreshing and hit the spot on a warm day. We sat on the outdoor patio, which is beautifully set up with a great atmosphere—comfortable, clean, and relaxing. The service was fantastic—friendly, fast, and attentive. You can tell the staff takes pride in the food and the experience they provide. Taino Smokehouse is a must-visit if you’re in or around Middletown. Whether you’re in the mood for amazing BBQ, comfort food, or just a great place to unwind, this spot checks all the boxes. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Went with friends a few days ago for a birthday, Austin was so adorable and sweet! We ordered the meat by the pound, 1/2 lb chicken, pulled pork, sausage, brisket, and 1/2 rack ribs. I was excited because they run out of ribs later on and I finally got to try them. I had it with a side of their voodoo sauce, corn breads to go around, and mac and cheese. Everything was really good and Austin was so kind and helpful! Not overbearing, attentive, and good humored. It's very unassuming outside, but don't let it fool you!
