Good Chef Restaurant

If you're looking for authentic flavors and great value, Good Chef is the place. We had a feast of dim sum pork and beef gyozas, siu mai, and dumplings plus a solid Tonkatsu Ramen. Everything was flavorful and served quickly. I love that it’s a one stop shop since you can hit their well stocked market right after dinner. Great food, great prices, and excellent service.

Such a cool spot right next to the market! The decor was perfect with all the anime and hanging lanterns! The takoyaki was perfectly cooked with a little runnyness inside and great flavor! The bonito flakes on top were stringy-like and super thin which I thought was much better than the traditional flakes! The ramen was on point as well with homemade noodles. The only thing I would change is the egg needs to be seasoned for longer but they may have just been made as the photos I’ve seen from previous patrons the eggs look marinated longer. The service was prompt and cordial and would love to come back here again!

Do yourself a favor and visit! Friendly faces will greet you and you’ll be enamored with all the anime decorations. Most days, you’ll have to write your name down and wait, but you’ll keep busy with the great Asian market there. We always start off with a large selection of appetizers plus a boba tea. The portions are enough to share with the whole table. You can never go wrong with anything you order because everything is delicious! Leave space for the rainbow cake as dessert too.

I had a great experience at Good Chef near FIU in Miami! The food was amazing — I had the curry chicken with fried rice, and my daughter enjoyed a delicious pad Thai. The service was excellent, and even though the place is small, it has a cozy and welcoming vibe. What makes it even better is the mini Asian market inside — they have a great selection of products that are hard to find elsewhere in the area. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving authentic Asian food and friendly service! 🍜🥢🍛

This place is amazing! I'm almost afraid to give them a good review since they might raise their prices lol. Great quality and service. I appreciate how they kept refilling my water- most restaurants ignore water refills because they aren't making money, they were very good about it here. No wonder it's packed. A+++

We had an amazing experience here! The service was excellent from start to finish, and everyone treated us with so much kindness and warmth. Our waitress, Linda, was absolutely wonderful; she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We came to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They sang for her, gave her a free gift, and made the whole evening feel so memorable. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and joyful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
