The food is delicious, been there twice on Saturday nights and it was pretty chill. Love love love the design. Tried the garlic noodles with chicken and the pho-ries: both were amazing 10/10. Super flavorful & those fries I truly felt like I dipped them in pho. Wild. Would come here again and try other things!!
Decided to check this place out because it caught some hype thru foodie channels. The inside is pretty fun with all the lanterns and it feels like a mix of cafeteria and garage restaurant. Food was pretty decent had some good flavor on the meat in the noodle bowl, but everything else was a little bland. Would have liked more sauces with the meal, or at least some table sauce like Hoisen or Sriracha and maybe extra sweet vinegar? Don't forget to handle your own dishes, so no table service, its pretty much like a fast food place. Cashier was putting together orders and took a phone order while we were standing there ready. Didn't put them on hold or tell them to wait, took the full phone order. This seems to be a trend that I cannot get on board with... serve the mobile and calls with more priority than the guest in front of you? When did this become okay?
This always comes up in any list I look up when searching for good Vietnamese food in Louisville. The location is ideal and there is plenty of parking ( I was there on a Saturday). The food was not the best Vietnamese food I have ever had. They have some perks in that they have a full bar and a great outdoor , plus they are open late. My pho was cold and the shaken beef pieces were too big and inedible. The flavors were ok and the spring roll was inedible. Would I return? Maybe after a drunk night looking for some fries because those actually looked decent judging from the table across from us. Also, use the disposable utensils, the standard utensils were dirty I have included a picture of one that I had not used my water to scrape and a new "clean one" we asked for. The one with the least stains is the one I cleaned with a napkin and water.
I leave reviews often, and this one is earned. The restaurant itself was fine, but the food was honestly awful. The pho broth had no real depth or richness and tasted watered down. The meat quality was not good, and the overall flavor was completely off. We ended up sending the food back because it just wasn’t edible. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese pho, this is not it. Very disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back.
I had this restaurant saved in my "want to go" folder for so long and after achieving a large life milestone, my husband and I went here for dinner to celebrate. We both normally enjoy pho but were severely disappointed by the lack of flavoring in our chicken and veggie pho dishes. The spring rolls were okay - good amount of crunch - but again, lacked seasoning. While the food was less than adequate, the service was great as the employees were attentive and helpful, and there was plentiful seating and parking on a weeknight.
I ordered from here today and I’m just gonna say I think it’s the best tofu Banh Mi I’ve had in the state. super flavorful. Everything was really fresh. Good presentation. Also ordered the chicken pho and the broth was really really good. Would highly recommend you order from here.
I really love the flavor of the place except the food may be extremely too salty. I get a headache every time I eat the wings other than that I would love to try their other menu options because everyone was eating pho so I will go back and try that the fries are really good but they’re salty. The atmosphere of the restaurant is super cute and it’s a great hangout place.
