Love what they do for the community and the quality of their food. When most businesses were closed they opened their doors on the most craziest day Louisville had the most amount of snowfall. My sister lives close by and she was able to receive chicken noodle soup free of charge when they were giving everyone that offer and allowed her to use their phone when hers died. As long as this restaurant is in business I’ll continue to offer them my support and would recommend this place to anyone in the south end area looking for fresh and delicious meals.

This place was amazing, they had something for everybody. The sushi bar took a little long but the food was beautifully made and tasted great. We will definitely go back to try other places there. We found this place on goochy reviews on YouTube check him out to find local places to eat. You won't be sorry!!

We had a large group and it worked well. Everyone was able to find something they liked and all the food was hot and fresh. Plenty of seating and everyone got their food fairly quick even though there was a constant flow of people. We did have a little confusion trying to figure out where to order, but we figured it out. Sushi was 🔥🔥🔥 along with everything else we ate.

All of the food we ordered was excellent. The was a slight mix up on the order but they fixed it without question. Could have had better refill service but it got pretty busy and seemed to only be one person working that area. She was very nice and did the best she could. Will definitely go back here again and try more of the food. Also I didn't get a pic but I love the wood plank tables.

Stopped by out of curiosity after commissioning for my Poetry book to be in the bookstore next door. I've been to this place in the past for Open Mic Night ( Local Artist , Poets , Rappers & Musicians) There were 3 restaurants in 1. I went to the bar b/c that's where the grill aroma was coming from. I tried the Caribbean Jerk Burger & Cheese fries. I'm still licking my lips 😋 30 min later. The spicy kick i could barely handle but the burger & sautéed onions along w/ the jerk sauce just set it off. Someone outside said that the owner of the venue gave cots to the homeless last winter so Blessed Be to the kind hearted and i will definitely be back again w/ family & friends! Keep Up the Good Work 💓💓💓

We stopped here while we were driving through Kentucky to back home in Alabama. It wasn’t clear at first on how to order, but once we figured it out, we decided to order from Fresh Out of the Box and Str8 Drop Wings. We ordered the chicken fried rice, a half order of kimchi loaded fries, and The Flying Pig chicken sandwich. While we waited for our food, I decided to get a dessert from the cheesecake place. We went with the Biscoff cheesecake. We only had to wait for about 5-10 minutes for our food to be ready and brought to our table. It was all steaming hot and very fresh. The chicken fried rice was such a huge portion. If the instructions on how to order had been more clear or if someone had greeted us at the door, the experience would have definitely been a 5/5. The food was amazing and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Whenever we drive through Kentucky again, we will be back hungry for more.

This place truly makes me wish I had a bottomless stomach. Everything I’ve ever eaten there is SO good! The Muhammad Ali roll is my favorite but I’ve worked my way through most of the sushi menu and have never had a roll that was less than delicious. One time I treated myself to Anko’s omakasi experience and it was amazing! So many delicious flavors I had never experienced before. Mak-mak’s has the sweetest staff and the best eggrolls! They also give you this tasty broth while you wait that my daughter loves. Get any of the burgers because they’re great but my favorite are the bulgogi burger and the jerk burger. They do dollar wings on Wednesday and they’re always cooked to perfection. Don’t forget to grab a cheesecake before you go! We always get a banana cheesecake jar but they have a lot of options! I am so glad the best restaurant in the city is on my side of town!
