I finally had the chance to stop by and give it a try and was not disappointed! The place is very chill, inside a mini mart, not a lot of seating but it's very cute with a small library and sketch books to draw. The food and drinks were amazing! The latte art was incredible! We ordered the Latte de Barrio & Latte De La Banda and got the Calmness Matcha Latte to go. For food we had Chimi Sando,Matcha Chia Pudding,Quiona Summer Salad. All amazing! Will be coming back all the time!!

I had the African chai latte which was a rooibos tea base with very light flavors that were very good. The hot chocolate was also very good. Jeffrey assisted us and was very welcoming and helpful and knowledgeable. The cups they serve drinks in were very cool. They have a variety of lattes that look like they would be good to try in the future.

Do not sleep on this special community coffee shop. Tried an iced cardamom latte today and it was excellent. The space is beautiful. Looking forward to visiting again.

This spot in Boyle Heights is such a gem for specialty coffee. The drinks are excellent smooth, balanced, and crafted with care. I tried the latte and matcha, both of which were spot on, not overly sweet and made with love. The bites are just as good fresh, flavorful, and thoughtful. The pastry was perfectly baked, and the fruit/granola bowl had a great mix of textures. Everything felt intentional and high quality. The vibe of the shop is warm and relaxed, with plenty of natural light and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a great place to hang out, work, or just enjoy a slow morning. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Boyle Heights

From the moment you step in, you can feel the care that went into every detail — beautifully designed, warm, cultured, and genuinely inviting. It’s the kind of space that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile… even if you’re just stopping by. They have board games and books which is a great touch! The drinks were exceptional. The matcha was perfectly balanced — earthy and smooth with subtle hints of lavender that complemented it beautifully without overpowering it. Truly one of the best matcha drinks I’ve had in a long time. And the chimichurri sandwich? Hands down one of the best cold sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. Fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made — the kind of sandwich you keep thinking about after you leave. What really set this place apart, though, was the generosity and warmth of the service. Even though I wasn’t dining in, they kindly brought my to-go order out to me, which speaks volumes about how much they care about every guest’s experience. The service was attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. This is more than just a coffee and juice spot — it’s a place that clearly values quality, community, and hospitality. So grateful for spaces like this. I’ll absolutely be back.

Ulew Coffee & Juice is a fantastic spot! The service is excellent, and I highly recommend trying their Cardamom Latte—it’s absolutely delicious. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on trying it.

Ulew Coffee had made it to one of my top favorite Coffee shops in LA! Handsdown the best avocado toast I've had and the coffee is strong and delicious 😋 I love the location, the vibes, just everything! If you're in the area it's a must try and if you're not, then it's worth the drive!
