This bakery is in a hotel. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their curry pan, matcha mochi bun, bear custard bun, japanini, and Furikake salt and butter bread to try. The curry pan had crispy panko bits on the outside but was only filled with a thin layer of curry. It did have a decent flavor tho. The matcha mochi bun and an ok matcha flavor with a sweet red bean filling and thin chewy mochi layer, the bear custard bun was SUPER pillowy soft and had a good amount of not too sweet vanilla custard inside. The japanini had a crispy, cheesy outside and a thin savory bacon pesto layer. The Furikake salt and butter bread had a crisp exterior and soft interior with good salty, buttery, umami Furikake flaves. It was a bit dry tho. My top items were the bear bun, japanini, and Furikake bread but everything here is kinda pricey for what it is so for me it’s eh.

Very hidden tiny cafe with GOOD matcha and pastries! This place is located INSIDE the a hotel lobby so it's a bit of a hidden gem. The matcha is quite good, nice quality and I find the flavor comes through, its not milky or watery. And the cold foam is FLAVORFUL, it doesn't just taste like heavy cream. I got the sea salt and it was very salty, I recommend mixing it because it was almost too salty to drink alone. Their buns are also good the matcha sunire bun had a crisp frosting on the outside but the bun was soft and pillowy on the inside. Service is ok but this place is worth checking out for high quality matcha in little tokyo.

Such a gem of Japanese bakery and cafe hidden inside a Japanese hotel. Each bun in this bakery are soft and yummy. Not only they are very authentic Japanese bakery flavors, they also have very authentic Japanese drinks too, their matcha series had lots of unique flavor combination. Their bakery takeaway box also really cute. The tuna bun with LA sign very unique to international visitors. This bun also have crunchy top component. Just yummy to enjoy. Kobo Kuma is one of my favourite too, design of this bun are unique to each pieces super cute. This is a soft custard bun, very yummy. This cafe also sell hojicha, which is very hard to find in USA overall. Their speciality drinks is sweet, bit not too sweet. Love the matcha cold brew too. Will certainly come back to try taro latte, matcha rose latte, lavender latte next time. Staff are very friendly. Limited seating inside. No outdoor seating. If you love Japanese bun and drinks, strongly recommend to try this cafe, which located in the city area, little Tokyo area, easy accessible by train.

Salt and butter rolls were so delicious. It was light and fluffy but had that classic crispy crust on the outside. Reminiscent of the ones I would enjoy in Korea. Limited seating and selection but still a must go to spot in Little Tokyo

This place is very small because it is inside a hotel but it’s kept very clean . I did see fruit flies in there like two and I told the lady the first time I went but the doors are open so I guess it’s inedible but maybe pay attention! The food is so satisfying. They were sold out of their French toast something so delicious. The little teddy desserts with the pudding inside are amazing 🤩 it tastes like the manjar in a Guatemalan plantain dessert !!!! I had a fish sandwich with coleslaw small in size but worth it and can’t never go wrong with drinks

If you’re looking for a banana creme matcha, this is the ONLY place that has the best version! Everything is so smooth, from the matcha to the creme on top! The staff are super friendly and are very fast! The line will get crazy but it’s worth it I’m telling you!! I would drink this matcha everyday if I could.

Ordered a banana crème matcha latte and rose matcha latte with a chocolate emoji bread. Everything was very tasty, but note that the flavors overpower the matcha’s taste if that’s something you’re focused on. The sweetness was just right.
