👍 Five Stars! Authentic Korean Delicacy, The Ultimate Value-for-Money Gathering Spot! This spot is truly my hidden gem for Korean food! Their Gamjatang (Pork Bone Soup) is rich and comforting, with fall-off-the-bone tender meat. The Jokbal (Braised Pig's Trotters) is perfectly chewy and gelatinous—a must-order! The Korean BBQ quality is also superb, marinated just right. Most importantly, the portions are incredibly generous, offering unbeatable value for money! Whether for a casual lunch or a friends' get-together, this is the perfect choice. Plus, it's super convenient to get to, with plenty of parking available, so no hassle with finding a spot! If you're looking for an authentic, hearty, and affordable Korean feast, this is the place to be!
Stopped by for lunch and the place was already busy. The Spicy Squid & Pork BBQ was really good — sweet, spicy, and served sizzling on the hot plate. We also had the Broiled Pork Belly + Glazed Pig Hock, and the sauces were really good and a bit different, especially one that helped cut through the richness. The Pork Backbone Soup with ramen was warm and comforting. Simple, traditional Korean food. I’d come back.
Loved this Korean spot in Koreatown! Their bossam was amazing — the pork was super tender, not greasy at all, and tasted great wrapped with lettuce, kimchi, and sauce 🥬😋. We also got the budae jjigae, and it was the perfect comfort food — spicy, rich, full of sausage, ramen, tofu, and cheese 🍜🔥. The flaming bulgogi was such a fun surprise — they actually torch it right in front of you, and it smelled incredible! Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and the staff were super nice. Cozy atmosphere and perfect for sharing with friends or family. Definitely recommend!
Stumbled into this small restaurant tucked away in a busy complex... Decided to try it out for lunch as online, it showed some really cheap deals. The Korean bbq plate was $20.99 and the bossam was $18.99. It's a very reasonable price for lunch. The banchan was good too. It's like a mom and pop shop and the staff are all quietly rushing around to clean, cook and serve. Very quiet restaurant even though every table was occupied. No complaints at the no frills approach. I am rating everything at 5 stars because I was only looking for a basic lunch that would be both satisfying and filling and at that price split between two people, what is there to complain about. I want to come back and try the pork home soup!
Fantastic Korean food with a wide variety of selections, would expect nothing less since it’s LA Ktown. Service left some to be desired as it took forever to get our side dishes when guests who came after got theirs right away. But the pricing and flavors cannot be beat! Not sure if I will be back as there’s so much to try in Ktown but definitely an above average choice.
Been here a couple times and always satisfied with everything from food to service. Highly recommend spicy glazed pig hock set which was really tasty with perfectly spicy and sweet. Spicy squid and pork BBQ was nice too. All ladies who served us food were very nice and friendly. Price was reasonable and portion was appropriate.
We are here for the pork belly, it was a lot for three of us, and I think the vegetables cake is our top dish among them. Tofu soup is filling with lots of pork meet as well, which I didn’t expect that.
