Haidilao Hot Pot Century City

Another spot that I was afraid might have been overhyped by all the videos that I have seen online. However, they did not disappoint! Huge line out the door but since it is in the mall, I just recommend dropping your name and then walking around the shops in the meantime. The staff is quick, efficient, and nice. The seating is comfortable and ordering process is on electronic tablets. Very easy to scroll through the menu and look at the pictures if you are not familiar with hot pot. We really enjoyed all the meats, veggies, and you have to get the dancing noodles. It can get delayed but it is quite entertaining when they come around and put on a little performance with the hand-pulled noodles. It can get a little pricey but we did expect that from such a well-known chain. The only con is that the sauce bar is priced per person. I have never been to a hotpot place where you had to pay for the sauce bar. I guess they also include like snacks and desserts so that kind of makes sense. Would recommend trying out one of their locations if you are looking for an entertaining (non AYCE) hotpot restaurant. Now for my standard comments. The location is clean and well kept. Comfortable indoor seating.

The customer service was top-notch! Every request was handled with a smile, and the staff genuinely cares about their guests. The food is simply outstanding. Every ingredient was fresh, and the hotpot broths are packed with flavor! Great drink selection! The iced teas were refreshing, and the specialty cocktails paired well with the food. The ambiance is just right – stylish yet comfortable. You can feel the attention to detail in every corner.

Haidilao absolutely lived up to the hype — easily one of the best hotpot experiences I’ve had in the U.S. The service was exceptional, and Jenny was especially kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of the entire time. The dancing noodle performance was so fun to watch and added an awesome touch to the meal. Everything tasted fresh, the broth was flavorful, and the whole experience felt premium from start to finish. Highly recommend if you want top-tier hotpot and service!

The broth options are rich and flavorful (highly recommend the tomato and spicy duo!), and the dipping sauce bar is a dream for customizing to your taste. Meat, seafood, veggies, noodles — all perfect and replenished quickly if needed. The little touches make it extra special: complimentary snacks and drinks while you wait, fun robot servers, plastic covers for your phone, hair ties if you need them, and even a warm towel service. The attention to detail is next level. Perfect for group dinners, date nights, or just treating yourself to a cozy, interactive meal. Once you try Haidilao, you’ll understand the hype. This Culver City location is clean, stylish, and worth every penny.

I give it 4 stars because they charge soup which is around $32 for two kinds of soup base. You open a hotpot place and charge for the soup base, it doesn’t make sense to me. I have been to many hotpot places and most of them didn’t charge for soup. They also charge the dipping sauce. Anyway, other than that foods are a bit pricey but they are good quality, soup is tasty, service is great and environment is good. I went there on a Friday night and the wait was 1.5 hours.

I had an amazing experience at Haidilao! The service was truly outstanding from the moment we walked in. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made us feel very welcomed. The food quality was excellent — fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and plenty of options to choose from. I especially loved how thoughtful the small details were, from the sauces to the overall dining atmosphere. Everything was well organized and enjoyable. This was more than just a meal; it was a great dining experience. I will definitely come back and highly recommend Haidilao to anyone who loves hot pot!

Amazing experience.. we love handily as always! Service is always impeccable, sweet and kind . Very clean restaurant and everyone is helpful. We will come back soon.
