The shaved ice cream here is excellent. We tried the hojicha and matcha, and both were super yummy 😋. The hojicha comes with milk and chestnut, while the matcha has matcha cream and red beans; both combinations were delicious and well balanced. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is the slow service. On a previous visit, we waited so long that we eventually had to cancel our order and leave.
Pretty good bingsu! Not the best I've had but not bad either. We had the hojicha flavor and it was refreshing. The almond croissant was nothing special though, kind of tasted like it had been sitting there for a while so I don't recommend it. Probably stick with the bingsu and drinks.
Fantastic treats in a relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed the miso brown sugar latte: rich expresso flavor that goes very well with the brown sugar, the miso is on the lighter side. The grapefruit sparkling water, tho not very fizzy, tastes exactly like a fresh pink grapefruit and is super refreshing with a hint of bitterness. The strawberry cream smoothie is similar to a frappe, light on the sweetness and very creamy. The mango bingsoo was loaded with fruit and delicious. The hojicha bingsoo is as light in the flavor but still very enjoyable. My only complaint is that the cream in the hojicha bingsoo is too heavy and leaves a layer on your tongue. Overall a fantastic cafe!
Parking is valet only, so be warned. Place was hard to find since it's only printed on the glass door in small white letters. Got the mango shaved ice & it was good. They used frozen mango at the bottom, and top layer of mango tasted canned & covered in thick mango syrup. It was my first time tasting this kind of sprinkly shaved ice, and it was an interesting texture. Very light & it melted in my mouth with the sweet mango flavor. The taiyaki was very delicious & flaky. The custard tasted a little thin, but still delicious! The red bean was my favorite, not too sweet. It was busy when I went, so there was a wait, but the service was great. They answered a couple of questions I had before ordering & I didn't feel rushed. I will be back to try more of the drink menu.
The Nutella and Banana Taiyaki is SO GOOD!!!! I usually like red bean flavor more but I'm so glad I took the staff's recommendations!
Great bingsoo, better than Sul and beans 설빙보다 깔끔하고 맛있음. Saturday around 7:30pm it was still very empty but quickly got full! Will def come back.
This place was recommended so we tried the houjicha marron shaved ice (roasted tea flavor) and we are not disappointed. Perfectly fine shaved ice, so fluffy. Perfectly right amount of sweetness. There is a layer ice cream inside, not just the shaved ice. We loved it. Good to share by more than two people. Street parking is a bit difficult to find.
