Thai Chilli Pepper Lakeland

Scrumptious Thai food! We ordered quite a few and everything was so good. The red curry is my favorite! Friendly customer service, the owner, Thy, took very good care of us. We’ll be back for sure!

Recently, while attending a family wedding in Orlando (travelling all the way from London, UK), my hosts suggested we drive over to Thai Chilli Pepper in Lakeland for dinner—and what an outstanding recommendation it was! From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service set the tone for a memorable meal. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a rich and creamy Massaman curry loaded with tender meat, potatoes, and vegetables in that perfect peanut-coconut sauce; spicy Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) with wide rice noodles, fresh basil, and plenty of veggies; flavorful Thai fried rice; a delicious seafood pineapple curry with shrimp and vibrant tropical notes; and sides of jasmine rice. Everything was clearly cooked fresh to order—the spices were beautifully balanced, authentic, and bursting with that incredible fusion of Thai flavours (sweet, spicy, savoury, and aromatic). The portions were incredibly generous—we had plenty to share and even some leftovers! The presentation was lovely too, with thoughtful garnishes like carved carrots that added a nice touch. As someone who loves Thai food back home in the UK, this was one of the best experiences I've had abroad. Thai Chilli Pepper has absolutely earned a spot on my must-visit list—I’ll definitely return on my next trip to Florida to try more from their extensive menu. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, high-quality Thai cuisine! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was such a surprise to find so many vegan and gluten free options that completely blew my mind. All the noodle and rice dishes can be made with tofu or any meat. The chicken satay was amazing 👏 and the fried spring rolls are gluten free made with rice paper instead of wonton wrapper. Our server was attentive and handles the whole restaurant.

My boyfriend and I have come here multiple times, and I love it every time! I always order the same thing - the pad see ew with shrimp. My boyfriend got the lemon grass chicken with a side of jasmine rice. The pad see ew is a very generous portion. The shrimp are huge and very fresh. It’s absolutely delicious, it makes my mouth water. My boyfriend said the chicken is sweet, crispy, and light. The chicken mixed with the veggies makes a great flavor profile. Altogether, the food comes out very quickly. It’s always hot and fresh. They are consistent every time we go.

Thy was SO sweet first of all! She made our food very fast as well. I was born overseas and we spent a lot of time in Thailand and it’s my favorite food. The Pad See Ew here is very authentic! I highly recommend you give them a try! 🙂

I went there during lunchtime. I stood at the front desk for three minutes before someone came out to greet me. Then I ordered a pad Thai. It was very oily and there was hardly any vegetable in the noodles. The taste was very sweet and it was quite expensive.

Thy gave amazing service! She was very welcoming as it was our first experience. Food was absolutely amazing! Definitely will be returning.
