Angry Chickz

Food: Tried this place and one of everything that was on the menu (pretty much, since the menu is extremely limited). Everything was okay. The bowls were okay,... The chicken sliders were somewhat basic and looked like they could've used a bit more sauce, but the kids really liked them. Although the chicken wasn't crispy there was a smokey flavor that tasted good. We tried up to the medium spice level, which I believe is the best choice if you actually want to TASTE the food 😋. The fries were pretty good and the coleslaw, well.. it was coleslaw. Service: The cashier (I think Karla was her name) did a great job, was very friendly and helpful. The staff seemed to be working very hard to get the orders out promptly and correct. And it looks like they worked hard to keep the lobby clean. Atmosphere: my main takeaway was that it was clean, a little chilly, and unexpectedly loud. Overall, not a bad experience. Do wish there were a few more different food options, as the limited choices and just okay food don't really make me want to pick this place over somewhere with more yummy options. Oh, and their sauce was good. Pretty much reminded me of all the other chicken chains sauces.

Wow what an amazing experience 🤩. I was really wowed by the tasty toasty food . I love how they have a scale for different levels of spicynes I've tried other place and whoa I couldn't handle the hot sauce 😭. Angry chicks has many different levels of hotness you can choose from . It was perfect. The chicken was so juicy right amount of crispy fried. And they where big piece of meat I could only finish half . Omg and the macaroni mama mia ! I love how you can get macaroni instead of the fries and I love the portion now that's a side of macaroni. Other place when you get a side of macaroni they give you a portion like a kid size . I was in disbelief, I was like what ? ...when I got my macaroni thanks angry chicks you know what's up. The place is also very welcoming and cozy . Paola and the other young man at the counter where really nice 👍🙂. Thank you both and all yall.

How in the world are people leaving 5 stars for this food? I think theyre rating the service and not the food. So this is yet another Dave's Hot Chicken clone. Only, their spice levels are very different than Dave's. Medium to medium, angry chickz is considerably more hot. So keep that in mind. Their chicken portions are smaller than Dave's. I think its important to compare to Dave's, using it as a common barometer should make it easier for you to decide to eat here or not. JUICY-NESS: These strips weren't bad by any means in the Juicy dept. But they didnt shine either. FLAVOR PROFILE: The smokey flavor isnt welcomed in my opinion. Its part of their seasoning and really competes with the "hot chicken" flavor. Its extremely unexpected and a little jarring. I personally dont recommend it but if youre into smoked chicken, you MIGHT like it but honestly, I love smoked chicken, I love hot chicken... the 2 together? Its a No from me. FRIES: The fries were decent but im not a fan of the batter. They were completely covered in seasoning which I do really like that they were consistent in flavor that's the only food positive at this place honestly. The fact that they fairly evenly coat the fries in seasoning. That was a win. Its also worth mentioning that their pricing is higher than the competition, their portions are smaller, and their overall ingredients are inferior to the competition too. Example would be the pickles, compare these to somewhere like Dave's, Dave's serves you premium pickles, the ones here at Angry Chickz taste like generic food vendor fair, cheaply obtained, mass produced. They weren't bad, but no where near the freshness you get elsewhere. So was it enough to warrant a return visit? Sadly, absolutely not. This is a one and done visit. Id emplore you to question yourself if you DO end up eating here, and tempted to leave a review, make sure youre not leaving an emotionally driven review based on the grand opening, fresh employee, happiness and service. Rate the food openly and honestly, without outside influence.

Decided to give this place a shot, I wasn’t sure seeing how Dave’s Hot Chicken looked similar. Let me tell you Angry Chicken has Dave’s beat by a mile! Hands down better flavor and options. Service was also very good and not a long wait considering how busy they were today. Angry Mac was what I ordered and it was amazing!!!

Food was great! I went during a busy lunch rush, just one cashier in the front but she was ON IT! Thank you, Hoshi! Food came out fast and hot!
