Open Doors Coffeehouse

Sweet little breakfast place. Love to find local businesses when visiting a new area. Doesn’t have much curb appeal from the outside, but don’t let that deter you. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. Kind and courteous staff. Seasonal pumpkin Chai latte was amazing. Biscuits were flaky and delicious. Be sure to check out this hidden gem.

We are from Virginia and we stopped by and I am very happy we did. What an amazing place great people and wonderful food. The owners are delightful and just all around a wonderful experience we will be back for sure

We’re visiting Johnson City from Raleigh, NC, and stopped by Open Doors Coffeehouse — so glad we did. Matthew Bayard was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made sure our order was perfect. His great attitude and genuine care really stood out. Excellent coffee, cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back! ☕️

Absolutely epic spot about 2 minutes off of the highway. Service was spectacular; staff were friendly and helped us navigate the menu, offering suggestions about what to order, what was popular. What was their favorite. Menu was simple, but had great options. Arguably, the best breakfast burrito in my life. Cowboy Burrito, with carne asada protein. Pricing was unbelievable.

Really sad they discontinued soy sausage as a breakfast protein. I’ve been a customer for 7 years and loved how vegan/vegetarian-friendly their menu used to be. Staff is always kind and love how affordable their prices are. Great community business.

Some of the best sausage gravy and biscuits around. Pretty much self serve ,you order at the counter and you go to counter to get your drinks silverware, napkins ECT. They do bring your food straight from the kitchen so it's good and fresh. My wife's tea and muffin were outstanding 😋 as well. They have a drive thru too Looking forward to coming back.

We went through the drive thru and ordered 2 small iced white mochas. It was $15 which I thought was too much, especially for the quality. For starters there was like 3 small ice cubes at the very top of the drink so the majority of it was room temperature, yuck. And it tasted like milk water. Disappointed and not sure I’ll be back. Giving 2 starts because service was fast and the girl at the window was nice.
