The Moon Coffee and Tea House

I had an oat milk sweet potato latte. Very delicious! The croissant sandwich was fabulous too. Very friendly and lots of fresh plants. Handicapped parking directly across the street and ramp entry. I appreciate that there are plans along the side of the entryway because otherwise I don’t think my proprioception would have realized that the entryway was going up on an incline. It is very dim inside. There are sometimes where I think I would very much like that and sometimes where I think that would be very irritating. Loved the relaxing music.

I visited this place a few weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing! The menu selection is fantastic. I was in Johnson City for four days and stopped by for a latte every single day. The sweet potato latte was delicious, and their sandwiches were just as incredible. Highly recommend!

My favorite coffee shop in town! Excited to see that they moved to a bigger location just a couple doors away from the old spot! It is a little dimmer in this location (but probably just because it’s a bigger space which goes further away from the windows)… I would love to see more ambient lighting but that is my personal preference. There is still generally a great vibe as you are surrounded by moon art and a nostalgic/rustic feeling. My partner and I come visit here whenever we are in town and everything we’ve tried (mostly coffee speciality drinks) has been great; I particularly love the harvest moon. The pastries, which seem to come from another small business, are good— not amazing but still solid. Their coffee is definitely the star of the show

My spouse and I absolutely love this coffee shop!!! Can’t say enough good things about it. The coffee is truly the best in town and is so affordable. Same with the food! They have the most delicious sandwiches and salads. We look forward to coming here every Saturday. Even when jam packed, the service is excellent. The owner is so kind and so genuine. He will come out and make sure all is well with the food. He truly works so hard to make sure everything is good and taken care of. Would absolutely recommend any of their drinks! A few of our favorites are the maple cream latte, Luna latte, chicory cream latte, and any of their salted lattes. You truly can’t go wrong. Food wise the turkey and havarti sandwich is an absolute favorite, as well as the goat cheese and walnut salad.

Our members here at Spark Plaza are obsessed with this place. We make it a weekly (sometimes daily) ritual to take our "Moonwalk" to stretch the legs and get a much needed pick-me-up. However, coffee and tea aside, I think we'd make the walk anyway. The staff are each shots of espresso themselves. Their genuine friendliness is certain to leave us a good deal more encouraged and brighter than they found us. The Moon does it all right. It's a ship led by a passionate and mindful captain, with solid crew at each station. And believe me, I could write an entire review about their new space itself. It's incredible, and the transition was really well done. Keep it up guys!

This place is a true gem! Fantastic coffee and service. Their coffee drinks were very tasty! Their decaf was incredibly smooth and didn’t taste like decaf at all. They make their syrups in house and they are delicious. They have a wonderful menu with lots of options. They have sandwiches and salads which we will try next time we are in town. This will definitely be a go to for us when we are in Johnson City. The owner was incredibly kind. You can tell he really loves what he does and is serious about making the best coffee. Try it! You will not be disappointed!

Delicious coffee. Had a cortado and a maple cream latte. Both were great. Sandwich was also very tasty!
