Watch out for the spicy if you don't like spicy!!! Food was good and made quickly. Great for a date night. This wasn't super expensive. It was brought out to the table. The dishes it's served in are nicer than to go containers. A lot of plastic still but reusable. Side dishes were really good.
It is inside of Saraga Asian market, seems like a food court. it is so good! Big portion and worth it! I got the pork bulgogi and it was amazing! It is soft and seasoned well! Fast service and also on the other side there is a containers of kimchi you can buy😊, it is not too spicy and well balanced! However, pork bulgogi is very oily just to throw it there!
This is my second time eating here. I enjoy their big portions. Personally, I would split a meal with someone else since I can’t ever finish it all by myself. Last time I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and split it with my husband. We both enjoyed it a lot and were pretty full. This time I ordered the Soon Tofu Ramen with Kimchi and my friend ordered the Vegetable Soon Tofu Soup. We ordered the hottest spice and it was pretty good and super filling. My friend is vegan so it’s nice that there are options for her to choose from. The side dishes aren’t my favorite. The kimchi isn’t very fermented, the beans sprouts didn’t really have any taste to them, and the other side dish was over seasoned in the sauce. But the overall food was good. I enjoy coming here and indulging in some Korean food. It’s comforting.
the tteobokki was flavorful, however it was a little too hard than expected. the beef short rib soup however was excellent, the beef was soft and all the vegetable was easy to chew. along with the side dishes, it was perfect!
The food here is consistently delicious, and the ladies who own the restaurant are very nice and hardworking. Service is direct and efficient, which I appreciate. I’ve only ever had positive experiences and will absolutely keep coming back.
Its good place, clean and different varieties, I liked there boxes , the soup was made from cheap ingredients ( shoyaRamen packs) if they upgraded the noodles in the soup i would add more stars. The place is worth a try.
I got a hot stone bowl bibimbap and tteokbokki. I did go in the evening early January, so maybe I might’ve just been unlucky with my set of orders. Service was not bad. Bibimbap: + Tons of toppings - The rice was way too moist; too much water was added Banchan (sides given with bibimbap): + Kimchi tasted good, but not the best - Fish cakes dish was a bit too [hard] chewy Tteokbokki: + Good flavor and consistency of sauce - Rice cakes were on the harder side of chewy. I’ve had plenty of tteokbokki before and I know they’re supposed to be tender and just a little chewy. - The fish cakes were also on the hardened side I did bring have leftovers and remade the tteokbokki the following day (remade on a pan). The rice cakes and the fish cakes did soften up and had the consistency of what’s expected of a tteokbokki dish. Overall, not the best. I might not order these dishes again, but I might give the place a second chance given that it’s fairly new. Plus, there’s not a lot of Korean places near me and this one’s one of the closest.
