Too Cool Cafe

This is a cute place with excellent service. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. We were both impressed with the Sangria Mimosas. They were large, refreshing, and filled with delicious fruit. They were out of gluten free pasta but they did have gluten free rolls. We had the Goat Cheese Burger and the Lobster Roll. Their fryer is shared so we each got a bag of Miss Vickie’s potato chips. The burger was delicious! The bun was toasted and did not fall apart even the next day when we heated up the leftovers. The caramelized onions and goat cheese flavor was amazing. The lobster roll was also tasty. A wonderful meal and we did not get any gluten related issues.

Jeanette was very lovely. Had a great time. I loved the red white and blue salad it was very good. Husband had a spicy chicken pasta. We even tried the elote and the coconut cream pie and chocolate lava cake. It was all very good! Lovely little area. Only thing that would make it better is a view. Gleason Park is nearby. They do have some beautiful plants and outdoor lighting!

Too Cool Café is exactly that… too cool. Gluten-free French toast exists here and it’s actually fantastic (rare win for the GF crowd). I had it with sausage links. Sausage was on point. No notes. My husband ordered a basic two-egg breakfast and everything was solid. You know a place is good when even the simple stuff hits. Shoutout to our waitress Leslie, who is an absolute ball of fire. She came flying over like we were besties just to tell me about the spiked hot cocoa special… obviously I ordered it. Obviously it was great. Great food, great energy, and gluten-free options that don’t feel like an afterthought.

Friend of mine told me to try this place and man was he correct! Place did not disappoint at all. Make sure you make reservations or you will wait, not long based on the time, but long enough to get a table. The wait was not long and it was worth it. Parking was somewhat of an issue but with some patience I was able to find a spot. Took a bit to get our food but nothing horrendous. The quaint style made it comfortable to wait and have conversation. Our food arrived and boy was I surprised at the size of our plates. Everything was on point and delicious. I do have a small complaint, nothing major, but I expected the apple Brie burger to have more apple flavor. Besides that, food was very tasty. Didn't have the room for dessert but I definitely will next time around.

My spouse and I found this place on find me gluten free. They have a great selection of gluten free items and I was super tickled that I had so many options. I had the French toast which could have had a little more pizazz but overall it was good. The bacon was wonderful but then again it’s bacon… my spouse had the west coast omelette and it looked amazing. His breakfast was top notch and he added grits which he said were amazing. Our server Jeanette was attentive friendly and overall really good at her job. We will be back and next time I think the omelette is in my future 😉

Leslie is amazing and attentive. Brandon, the chef, is A1!! The lobster grilled cheese with tomato bisque always hits. I love it here. I wish it wasn't so far from where I live. Highly recommend!

Leslie was so sweet and fast. 😊 Our food was hot and fresh. I got both the suggestions she gave me. Loved the red velvet pancakes especially for Valentine’s Day and the sangria! Would recommend!
