Coffee Shop No. 501 Market Street Boba & Beans Fredrick, MD April 18, 2025 There is something inspiring and hopeful about old buildings that are revitalized with a bit of modern flair, but the historic bones are kept in place. Market Street Boba & Beans did a stellar feat at this by keeping two wood arched framed windows at the font of the shop and placed seating on a slight platform in front of the windows. The gold ceiling and moulding perfectly accented the bold black coffee bar and light colored walls. Lucky for me I was able to soak up some afternoon sunshine at one of the window seats making it perfect for daydreaming and people watching. Initially Market Street Boba & Beans was on my radar because I was missing my youngest adult son (it’s weird typing that) who is a huge fan of boba. I am not a fan of boba and never order it in my drinks, but on this day I did. I ordered Thai tea slush with boba along with my usual cortado; both drinks were delicious. I would definitely return to this shop. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Such a cute little boba shop! Very cozy atmosphere with boho vibes. We stopped by with my bestie to save ourselves from the heat of the day. We got boba drinks and they were delicious! Flavorful, sweet enough but not too much. If you are in need of something cold and sweet - this is your spot!

Had a mocha, it was delightfully delicious. Such a welcoming staff and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend! I will be back.

The boba tea and all options, including non-dairy, makes this place so special. However, they are not just special; they are exceptional! Try the affogato. The Gingerbread cookie Gelato with two shots of espresso will change your life. Run, do not walk, to this place and order the affogato. The staff told me they ordered the Gelato from an Italian supplier. I have tried their seasonal gelato so many times, and I can't stay away from this place. The Summer season had a watermelon mint (amazing!) while the gingerbread cookie for fall/winter is off the hook. The coffee quality is truly exceptional.

For the last couple of years, MSB&B has had a delicious seasonal bubble tea that is white chocolate peppermint. I have been craving it so I stopped in yesterday, but was disappointed to see it wasn't on the menu. I decided to take a chance and ask if it was still possible to get. Even though it wasn't being advertised as being available, they still made it for me and it was delicious and beautifully garnished with a candy cane to make it look super festive! I so appreciated that they went out of their way to make me something that wasn't technically on the menu. 🙂

First of all, I am always looking for good Boba tea places to try and this place did not dissapoint. The Boba tea itself is not bad. A little bit too sweet for my liking (I wish they had the sweet level options). The place itself is cute! Very modern and good vibes. Perfect for that social media picture and it gives of a really nice modern vintage coffee shop vibe. Perfect for a Boba tea/ coffee date. There are books available for free for you to read and it is an LGBTQIA+ friendly establishment. Will definitely recommend and will visit again.

I can not say enough good things about this place!! Everything was delicious including the cheddar and chive scone!!! Oh and I was SO excited they have Lavendar for the Boba!!!! So so good!! Everyone made you feel like family here, so very friendly!! We will be back!! 💙🧡💙🧡
