FM (Fortes Mill) Eatery

Came for brunch and everything was delicious. It's a quaint little restaurant. We had reservations for a table of 6 and I would recommend that for parties larger than 4. The staff were professional, courteous and efficient. The food was fantastic! Highly recommend the burger, blueberry pancakes, and beef hash. They have a small kids menu for brunch (waffles, pancakes, etc). We would definitely go again! Highly recommend!

I don't know where to begin. This place is outstanding. Great place for a group or dinner date or even solo if you wish. The food was cooked properly and with flavor. The spareribs were incredible. The crab cakes were amazing. The cheese board makes a perfect appetizer. The big bang burger looked incredible. All this food was absolutely delicious. To top it off the dessert was amazing as well. We had the Fried Peach Pie, White Chocolate, Blueberry Bread Pudding and Strawberry lemongrass Creme Brulee was absolutely outstanding. The ambiance is soothing and makes for a perfect night out. I would definitely come back to this place for dinner.

Exceptional food, great service, comfortable atmosphere. A great place to go when celebrating a special occasion. We have been twice and both times we have been fixated on how enjoyable the food was. I tried the tile fish this time and I am glad I did.

This place is ok. I think the staff are great, but the food left me wishing for a bit more - was a bit disappointing. I love Flipside Cafe and Flipside Restaurant (also part of this group), but FM Eatery isn’t my favorite. It isn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great in my opinion. It’s a tight space, and things tasted a bit salty to me. Nice presentation though. I did like the charcuterie board though - that is excellent!

We visited around 12:30 for lunch midweek. We weren't able to find street parking but there is a free lot to the right of the traffic light a walkable distance away. We were greeted and seated almost immediately even though they were quite busy. We had the brussel sprouts and bacon wrapped dates as appetizers, both were spectacular. One of our party had a burger which he described as "ridiculously good", the other had the avocado toast with grits which she loved, and I had risotto with their fish of the day which was cod. Honestly, I ate every bite and am dreaming up reasons to drive back to this restaurant nearly 2 hours away from me just to taste this dish again. We will absolutely be back.

I discovered this place through the Facebook Reels series Eating Shi! Across America, where the host tried the Big Bang Burger and called it excellent. I visited last night and ordered the same burger—it was amazing! The patty was incredibly juicy, seasoned to perfection, and served on a crispy, toasted bun. It's by far the best burger I've ever had. The truffle fries were excellent. My girlfriend ordered the small plate special: risotto with shrimp. She raved about how amazing it was and noted that the portion was perfectly sized for one person. The drinks were excellent as well. Our server was fun and attentive, treating us like we were his only customers. I highly recommend this spot!
