Retreat Bakery Bar

One of my favorites spots in Fort Collins! The coffee is terrific, the atmosphere is inviting and the food is out of this world! The biscuits and gravy are the best in town. My hack is to get a bacon, egg & cheesed biscuit sandwich with a side of gravy…it is so filling and satisfying. The sweet treats are always excellent!

A truly wonderful establishment that had held a special place in my heart for many years. From a special occasion, to just meeting friends, Retreat Bakery Bar's sweet treats and generous pours are always welcome and pleasant. Staff are so kind and its such a local gem.

I have been going here for a few months now and their breakfast sandwiches and pastries are amazing! Today they went above and beyond when I accidentally showed up before they were open and started browsing their pastry counter. Before I even realized they weren’t officially open they offered to make my order. Definitely did not need to do that and they were so kind. 100% recommend this place! Also, sandwich was perfect.

Retreat is a cozy little bakery tucked in the corner. The desserts and coffee were delicious, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer!

This is one of those places I just happened to stumble upon and oh man, I’m so happy that I did! I got the biscuit breakfast sandwich (phenomenal!) and a tea latte with the waffle sauce tea. You guys totally have to try that!! It’s like a cozy maple hug in a cup lol And the pastries?! Omg they are just perfection! I’m excited to come back and try more 🙂

My new favorite place for hanging out! I've been talking about this place for the last few weeks since I heard about it and it is so much better than imagined. The bakery items look perfect and they taste amazing. We looked at all the items in the case and chose a mini cheesecake and the chocolate caramel entremet. While I was ordering, the owner behind the counter told me they also serve beer, which totally made my day. He provided excellent service and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Both items were exquisite and they looked so perfect I didn't want to eat them...I got over that fairly quickly. The place was so relaxing and pleasant and made for a perfect morning (yes, I was drinking a morning beer). I was excited to see that they are open fairly late, which will make for a great dessert spot in the evening. If you like amazing bakery items, this is your place. Can't wait to return!

We've been a couple times, and we're already big fans. The breakfast biscuit sandwich is really good, we also really liked the biscuits and gravy. The caramel tartlet is a must have for my partner. We were looking for something 'different' for our breakfast dates, and reddit came in clutch with a strong recommendation. They were listed as 'romantic' because it was a question asked by someone regarding Valentine's Day. I would agree, however, that on*any* day, you could have a romantic date here. The staff is kind, and the tea is always delicious. We plan on many more visits. Try them if you haven't! Saddle up to the bar and watch some Bob Ross with us! 💜
