Bann Thai

Food is good. Service is good , especially for a busy time. I rate food as 4 because I ordered Thai boat noodle and it doesn't quite taste like it. Although it is very good. Pretty sure dish is catered to the population here because if it says it has blood people wouldn't order it.

We ordered 1 Thai tea, 1Ginger Honey tea, an order of angel wings, and tom yum koong hot pot. The Thai tea is from a box and taste like it has sweet cream from a can. The angel wings are fried good but the sauce is from a bottle and taste like corn syrup. The tom yum koong lacks in all aspects from flavor to color and texture. We were going to order a green curry but the staff seemed uninterested in attending us and we ended up asking for a check. Ginger tea was good.

The Panang Curry is my ultimate comfort meal. The curry sauce is rich and flavorful, paired with coconut rice and tender pork, the flavor is unbeatable. Their sweet sticky rice is softly sweet, comforting, and delicious; like a memory from your childhood. If this place ever closes I’m going to cry because their food has become so near and dear to my heart.

On Wednesday, February 11, I came in at 6:20 PM and waited to be seated. The waitress upfront had a 10 minute conversation with some people and kept glancing over, but ignoring me. I walked to the back to inquire about being seated, and the other waitress on duty told me to go back to the front of the store and wait. The second waitress was even more rude than the first one. I won’t be giving my business to this establishment in the future

I got the mango curry, it was ok. The coconut rice is always a must! It is delicious and the favorite part of my meal today. I normally get the yellow or green curry, and I enjoy those. I was trying something new.

10/15/23- Overall the food was good and I would eat here again but not often. The sizes were ok, but price to size/quality ratio was off. Each dish was $2-3 overpriced. Also even their mild spicy may be too hot for people not used to spicy foods. My mom's curry dish was much better then mine. I would say the best part of our meal was the coconut ice cream that had real coconut in it. The place was nicely decorated. I could see this being a good place for a date night.

Delicious Thai food. Black sticky rice with mango is very very tasty. Isabella was very customer oriented and delightful as a server. I enjoyed my dinner and for sure will be back.
