If you are looking for a chill place to hang out near the coast that has some pretty decent food, Cajun Beach is worth the visit. I especially enjoy the open mic nights on Thursday evenings starting a 5pm. I love the beach floor on the outside seating area. We had a nice fire pit that gave a cool hang out vibe while we listened to some acoustic sets from some local talent. I have had the freshly battered chicken tenders and the Cheeseburger. Both were much better than the typical burger and chicken tenders you would normally get at a bar/ restaurant. I especially appreciated the generous portion of the hand cut fries! Such a treat to enjoy fries that are not frozen!

Super authentic New Orleans food coming from somebody who is born and raised in New Orleans. Really good gumbo and fried alligator. Right on the beach

Cozy little place with good food! I got the fried catfish platter and it was so fresh and flavorful. I would recommend calling to make a reservation especially if you have more than 4 people just as a curtesy.

Denise the bartender made some really good drinks. Also so friendly and welcoming us to Flagler beach. All the employees there were awesome. The food was delish. I had the gator, onion rings and boudin balls. Best boudin I have ever had. The Cajun sauce was spot on. The atmosphere welcoming and just had overall an AWESOME experience. . Going back today for lunch before we continue on our road trip. Definitely the best place I have stopped at on A1A, and I have tried many places.

I went into the Cajun Beach Restaurant for my 30 min lunch break because my co workers was talking about a new place nearby so I decided to go for myself……I was NOT disappointed, the food was Great the people inside enjoying there meal enjoyed THEIR meal soo much they told me about it as I was ordering. Mrs. Eileen who was the server there taking care of all the tables was busting her butt and providing excellent service to everyone i appreciate her being such a positive and great person server so please do try it out. Very inexpensive great quality food and just a good time.

If you searched up "seafood boil in Flagler Beach", the results were limited. So, let's go ahead & put it out there what this place really is - it's an outdoor beach bar with occasional food. We are on a family vacation & decided to stop by since we promised the kids a "seafood boil". Based on some of the other reviews & photos, we thought it would be ok to go to. It's a little confusing when you get here bc you're not really sure where to park. Save yourself the headache & find an available spot on the street, hopefully within walking distance. Then, we weren't really sure if this was a seat yourself, go to the bar to find someone, is there a hostess inside kind of place? We were greeted at the door by who we assume was an owner & another employee. We eventually chose a booth outside since there was a birthday party going on inside. I'd like to say it got better once we sat down but it didn't really. It took a really long time to receive our drinks & when we got our food, it took at least 45 minutes. *I do have to give our server credit for being so accommodating to our special requests on the different ways we ordered our boils (one didn't want sausage, another didn't want crawfish but extra crab clusters & no Cajun seasoning & another wanted only crab clusters, corn & potatoes) My husband said his fried catfish meal was tasty & our boils were adequate. By this time, we just ready to eat, get our check & be done. The seafood boil didn't really taste like there was any type of seasoning on it, some of the potatoes were cooked & some not & the butter wasn't melted or warm. The bar area was fairly busy but it didn't look like there were many people with food. We didn't ask for a manager or supervisor, we didn't complain to anyone but the owner still decided to compensate us for the lengthy wait on the food. We made sure to tip our server accordingly bc it wasn't her fault, she wasn't the one making the food - she's just trying to do what she can given the situation. If you are looking for an extremely laid-back place with a relatively busy bar & not in any hurry for a snack, then this is the place for you. However, if you've got a family or would like to eat in a reasonable time from when you place your order, you might want to look somewhere else.
