Young Dong Tofu House

I only got 8 ban chan, that's still ok. Just the side dishes alone made coming here worth it. The Yuk gae Jang spicy beef soup was very delicious, I use it as a barometer to determine the level of the chef kind of like you can use plain fried rice to determine the level of a Chinese chef. 1/2026- The potato ban chan is my personal favorite, followed up by the bean sprouts and kim chee. Bright atmosphere, hardly any of the customers here were speaking English. Strongly recommend this place.

My friend recommended this place and it was amazing! We shared jap chae, dolsot bibimbap and the soondubu/ribs combo. we went early on a Friday night and I’m glad because by 6:30 the place was packed and there was a line!

So delicious! One of the best Korean restaurants in the Bay Area. We each ordered different tofu soups and we had a lot of small dishes (for two people this was also a lot). The servers are super nice! I wish I will be back again!

The food here is absolutely delicious! We ordered clam tofu soup, assorted tofu soup, bulgogi beef, and stone pot rice, all of which were fantastic. The waitress is friendly, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this restaurant!

My favorite soondobu place in east bay. The soondobu size in their combos are the same as individual orders. Some places will give you a smaller portion in combos, not here!

The food is good and the servers are nice, but they are super stingy about banchans. If you ask for more, they will give it, but will limit you. Prices are reasonable for the portions. Small restaurant that gets busy so expect to wait at peak times. Plenty of parking in the large parking lot

Our go-to Korean place ever since our favorite closed down years ago. The place makes delicious Korean food, similar to what we had in Korea. However, it’s pricey compared to other K-places. This place can get crowded very easily so come early!
