Pilar Coffee Bar & Iced Treats

I’ve had this place saved for a while to go, I finally made it today and I was impressed. From the decor to the gelato and the amazing Colombian coffee. The most impressive part was the service I received from Alana, the barista working today around noon. She was friendly, genuine and knowledgeable. It wasn’t forced friendliness or forced service, you can tell it was from her heart as she was very passionate. She recommended the house brewed coffee, explained where it was from, gave me a taste of the gelato (which was amazing! I’ll be back for it) This is the most important part of an establishment, making the guest feel welcomed, secured and valued. I’ll be back for coffee and to study!

The staff were all so friendly on a busy Saturday afternoon. The coffee was perfect, not too sweet, which is rare. Other coffee spots load up the sugar to cover the flavor. But their iced honey cinnamon latte was delicious. It was clean and well decorated. Excited for their other locations opening up. I will definitely be back!

I debated whether to do a review on this place or not cause I don't do these to be negative. But then thought just be real all the time. So the place is dope as far as decor and the service was outstanding. But the food, coffee, and matcha latte were meh, just average nothing that sticks out or would make me come back again. Btw it's in a plaza that has a bunch of decent breakfast spots so the competition is fierce. And it was next to a bar that was open at 8:30 am with patrons which gave me old Florida vibes that I love. Felt nostalgic

Wonderful cozy coffee shop! Unassuming entrance, and yet once in there, it opens up warmly and has lots of seating and space for singles or groups of friends! Excellent coffee, heavy cream, great attention to detail! Friendly staff and a wonderful spot!

The Pilar coffee experience was enjoyable for the most part. However, me and my girlfriend ordered two 16 oz iced matcha pumpkin spice lattes and got charged $8.50 at the register instead of $6 price listed on the menu. This has diminished my trust to order from here again. The drinks on the other hand were delicious, but getting charged a different price then what was expected really made the difference.

Had a lovely morning at Pilar! The raspberry matcha was delicious, and the food was just as good. Leila was so kind and attentive, great experience overall!

Was excited to try this place because they're relatively new and had decent reviews. Staff were kind and helpful, but other than that the experience was pretty bad. It took forever, which normally I would understand because they were busy, but like c'mon. For what I ordered it was way too much. I paid $13 for what I thought would be standard chicken and waffles, but instead what I received in my to go order were 4 minuscule chicken tenders (if you could call them that, they're more like nuggets) and two very small waffles that appear to be and taste as if they were frozen waffles that had been put in a toaster. Coffee was good though, but $8 for a basic latte. Overall pretty disappointed with the quality, service, flavor, over pricing, and serving sizes here though I'm sorry to say.
