Masamune Japanese Restaurant

I made a brief visit to Masamune Japanese restaurant for some sushi to-go. The restaurant was small and serene with adequate seating and a sushi bar. Employees are pleasant. The menu offers many traditional Japanese dishes, fresh sushi & sashimi, signature rolls, udon & soba, Ramen, and much more at reasonable prices. The California roll was freshly made with an even amount of imitation crab, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber skillfully wrapped with sushi rice and nori. Absolutely delicious!

All of the food was delicious and well worth the price! I went a little overboard ordering, but it was worth it 😅 Even though she was really busy helping out tables and I was just solo dining, my waitress was very kind and provided excellent service, filling up my water throughout dinner, explaining how to eat the shrimp head that came with my omakase, and so on. Definitely will come back in the future! 💚

I had a really great time. This place has true authentic quality Japanese food. Our waitress was Super nice she recommended some great dishes. I recommend you just get a bunch of Items and share it because you’ll really be able to explore the menu. This place is a chill vibe, not overwhelming very nice and calm atmosphere. I wish I could remember the names of all the dishes but to be real I don’t. They were all really delicious though. if you are picky this is not the place for you.

Probably one of the most authentic and close to Japanese sushi style places I’ve visited in Miami area. The perfect nigiri in every way. Selection of fatty tuna. Wild salmon in the menu. Unfiltered Japanese beer, a rare one! A must place to visit.

Food was so good. Branzini appetizer was super tasty. Sophia our server was excellent- genuine and kind and gave great recommendations.

Went here for a birthday dinner and had an incredible experience. I ordered the 8-piece omakase special, and while there was a small mix-up with the listed price due to a smudged menu board, the quality was so high that it was worth every penny. The execution at Masamune is flawless. The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned, highlighting the freshness of the fish. A masterful sushi experience—I’d give it six stars if I could.

Hands down the best sushi experience we’ve had in the area — absolutely next level. This authentic Japanese restaurant delivers not just in quality, but in presentation, service, and flavor. We started with the firefly squid — tender, rich, and perfectly dressed in a savory sauce. Then came the toro topped with uni, and it was nothing short of divine. Melt-in-your-mouth texture with a buttery finish that just lingered in the best way. The uni with ikura (roe) was a visual stunner and packed with umami — a real treat for the senses. The wagyu roll was another standout — beautifully marbled beef seared just enough to enhance its flavor without taking away the freshness, paired with greens for balance and topped with a touch of wasabi. Finally, the white fish sashimi served with ponzu sauce was light, refreshing, and plated like art. From the moment we sat down to the last bite, everything was thoughtful and refined. If you’re a sushi purist or just someone who appreciates high-quality Japanese cuisine, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back — often!
