Taystee's Burgers

I stopped by Taystee’s Burgers in Detroit and tried both the Nacho Burger and the Classic Burger. Overall, I would rate Taystee’s a strong 4 out of 5 for flavor, creativity, and portion size. The Nacho Burger was the standout for me. I would give it a solid 4.2 out of 5. It was loaded with bold flavor, perfectly cooked beef, and toppings that actually complemented the burger instead of overwhelming it. The combination of cheese and nacho style elements made every bite rich and satisfying. The patty was juicy, well seasoned, and cooked just right. It is definitely one of the more unique burgers I have tried in Detroit and worth ordering again. The Classic Burger was good and I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. It was solid, simple, and satisfying, but it did not have the same wow factor as the Nacho Burger. The ingredients were fresh, the bun was soft, and the portion size was generous, but compared to the creativity and flavor punch of the Nacho Burger, it felt more standard. The fries were hot and crispy, and the overall service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere and the food came out fresh. If you are in Detroit and looking for big, flavorful burgers with generous portions, Taystee’s Burgers is definitely worth checking out. I will be back to try more of their specialty burgers next time.

After I placed my order I was blown away by the price. $17 for a breakfast burger and $5 for Cajun fries. First of all I didn't know it was halal and I didn't know they had so many options on burgers and bowls. They have sone unique recipes. My food looked beautiful upon opening the carry out boxes. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The burger was huge and delicious! They know what they're doing at Taystees burgers! I would definitely like to try other burgers.

Ok so yes it is a gas station shop and a Bp store. But let me tell you service is good and yes the burgers are juicy and freshly made on the spot. Very filling and loaded with ingredients and the friends are big enough to share with not just 1 person but 3. Also the Beef is 100% Halal. Making it pure and free of any cross contamination from other meets. Better quality and better ingredients. Totally recommend it as a great stop . Plus it’s open very late. The only negative is the steak burger is only made Wednesday. But everything else is great. Pick your drink from the gas station and I recommend a nice large Arizona tea.

This is a regular stop on my way driving through Michigan. And it never fails. The Ali’s nacho burger is amazing. I can see why it won best burger. The service polite friendly and if you come during a football or basketball game reminds me of hitting up a barbershop. Love the energy and vibe. Staff are amazing. They have plenty of amazing options on their menu and you can’t go wrong.

The burgers are definitely way above average and on par with any specialty pub or restaurant. Pro tip: if you’re a purist burger lover get the original. There are plenty of options for those that like all the fixings. The new Coney burger is a great choice. Fries are good too. Plan on spending about 20 a person.

The food and service here is great. The lady that served us was talking to us about awesome 90s bands because of my shirt. She was so sweet to all the folks who came in and didn't understand the menu or had trouble with English. She was super patient with everyone and it made the entire place very welcoming. The food was great and they had lots of options.

I wish the burgers could last forever. The parties are juicy and savory. I need to come here again to try all the burgers on their menu.
